"Our perfect day! We knew Southdowns Manor was going to be our Wedding Venue from the moment we arrived for the open day. From the impressive looking Manor to the stunning surroundings we knew this is where we wanted our day to be.
Lois our wedding planner was amazing, she was so enthusiastic about every idea we had and did everything she could to bring our vision alive. I really trusted her with everything on the day and she made sure everything went so well. Being a self-c...onfessed control freak myself it was so reassuring she had the same attention to detail as me.
My bridesmaids and I stayed the night before at the Manor, we had a lovely meal and a few drinks. If this is available to you I would highly recommend it. It meant we were able to decorate the venue exactly how we wanted without being rushed. It was fairly expensive but no more than you would spend on wedding cars/transport and was worth every single penny!
The venue worked so well for us as we had a fairly intimate ceremony outside with only 45 guests (luckily the weather was good to us!) and then 30 additional guests in the evening.
We loved the fact we had the whole venue to ourselves for our day. It made us feel really special and it was re-assuring knowing everyone there was for us, especially with us having a 2 year old little girl who ran around the whole day and evening!
All of our friends and family commented on how beautiful the day was and how tasty the food was. The staff were so attentive throughout the whole day and nothing was too much trouble. The added touches given to us throughout the day were really lovely surprises and greatly appreciated.
I can’t recommend this venue enough! Thank you for bringing our dreams to reality and giving us our perfect day! xxx"

Q. I’m finding it difficult to compare the price of Southdowns Manor with other exclusive use venues. Can you give my any guidance?
A. We’re aware of the difficulties people sometimes experience with trying to do a price comparison, so we make our quotations very straightforward and transparent. We’ll give you a price for the date and number of guests you request, and your quotation will clearly set out what’s included in the price. Our prices always include VAT, so you know ...exactly how much you’ll pay.
When you’re comparing our quotation with those of other venues, take your time and look carefully at what’s included and what isn’t, including the guest numbers and the costs for extra guests. Be careful not to miss the ‘extras’, as some venues include things like small print charges for outside ceremonies, obscure ‘service charges’ and so on. Don’t forget to make sure VAT is included.

"We cannot thank Southdowns Manor enough for making our wedding day so special.
However an even bigger 'thank you' goes to Lois our wedding planner - she was absolutely brilliant, amazing and kind. Lois went above and beyond on our wedding day. Not only did she bring tears to my eyes when I saw the finishing touches to the entrance hall, ceremony room and the wedding breakfast but she made me feel so special.
Not only was Lois our wedding planner but we grew a friendship. A...s much as Lois said it was all my ideas, Lois made all my dreams come true. I cannot take credit for the items I brought, Lois made it all happen for me. Even to the point where I asked Lois to make decisions for me as I knew she would do a brilliant job. Lois knew how much the '17th August' meant to me and she honestly made everything perfect. Lois made my wedding planning so easily, despite all my 'draft' questions! I will never ever forget how helpful the team were. Kate and Hollie were also brilliant when Lois was on holiday.
At the end of our wedding day, a bath was ran and a bottle of fizz was in our room. It was a lovely and special touch. My Husband and I had no idea who had done this for us but then soon realised Southdowns Manor did. Thank you for this!
Our food was incredible. The waiting staff were brilliant and so helpful. All our guests were happy and full!
