A wonderful place for having filthy guttersnipes convicted for petty offences. Not the sort of place you want to be if you are a nice clean well heeled middle class type. Not unless you're a magistrate of course. Ha ha ha. Keep up the good work.

Awful place, can't communicate to anyone, causing more problems than its worth, and their suppose to be professionals. Hearing from other companys due to derbyshire not communicating, awful.

It starts with a grebby feel up by weird security guards and finishes with you realising you would have been a million times better off not using a solicitor. Avoid using Derby based solicitors if you are legal aid especially VHS and the Smith Partnership. They are not solicitors they are bored money grabbing old men getting ready to retire. They actually help the court charge you. Everything's ridiculous. People will have to stand up to this government if this lazy corrupt behaviour continues. Solicitors make the courts life easy don't be fooled, you would be better off taking a witness, thats all you need, if you must use a solicitor its Johnsons and Bhatia Best. Do not risk using VHS or the Smith Partnership.

one thing solicitors don't tell you, after you say guilty everything changes, you are now a criminal, the police come down on you like a ton of bricks for looking at them funny, you will be disgraced in the local papers and online forever, your tagging machine will keep breaking and you will get the blame, people at community payback are not scanned, they might take phones to keep people safe but most take 2 phones and could have knives for all they know. The probation service will treat you like a child, they will teach you primary schools skills, life skills like you're a moron who doesn't know how to wash. The probation service are just looking to secure work, make sure you question everything in court. The mental health specialists range from a couple of kids to people who have no English skills. I'll leave it there apart from some solicitors, judges and cps officers sometimes deal with things behind your back, its all set up they can't be ars#d today, you got a light sentence even though you wasn't guilty, you belong to the probation service now.

The G4S staff spiked my drink when i was in the cells, its on CCTV but once again this court covers it up. They all blame each other, i will never know what they did to my drink. Word of advice, don't say guilty, the whole things a set up, they will threaten you with prison, the solicitors are not on your side its all a blag. VHS solicitors are too old to be dealing with younger people, they don't like the youth of today, they will stitch you up, they will try to make you sign plea agreements with threats of prison and walking out on you if you say no. Johnsons solicitors bit better, actually a lot better but still don't dare say when something isn't right. These people will kill you off, you must fight, you must say not guilty, if you say guilty there will be no appeal, forget promises its all a lie. The staff look at you and talk to you like your a piece of cr#p, disgusting people picking on whoever they can. Its all about making money at Derby Magistrates.
