On Wednesday morning, lessons will begin after break.
Prior to then, students will have tutor time and assemblies.
When students arrive in school, Year 7 need to go to the hall.
... Years 8,9,10 & 11 to their form rooms.
New external sixth formers need to meet in reception.
All other Year 12s to meet in the common room to be assigned form groups.

Reminder: Year 9 Bronze #DofE Launch Evening - Thursday 6th September 6pm - 7pm.
Students who have not yet returned their reply slip, can use the session tomorrow afternoon to ‘express an interest’ with Mrs Coleman and attend the information event on the 6th.

If you are dropping off your daughter from Wednesday morning, please use Bryant Road where we have a new student entrance.
There will be no access for parent / carer's vehicles via the main school gates.
Students can also still use Lewis Road and Netherfield Road as walking access. Thank you

We are holding our Year 6 into 7 Open Evening on Tuesday 25th September and all parents and carers who are interested in finding out more about Southfield School are invited to attend with their daughters.
The format for the evening will be:
Doors open 5.30 pm.
... Headteacher’s talk in the Hall 5.45 pm, 6.15 pm, 6.45 pm, and 7.15 pm.
You will be able to tour the school to view displays of work and to talk to students, teachers, support staff and governors. There will also be a number of activities for you and your daughter to watch or to try. Teachers will be available if you would like to discuss special needs support.
Our catering company, Cucina*, will be offering a taste of their freshly prepared food available every day to students.
If you are unable to attend the evening but would still like to visit the school, please contact our admissions office admissions@southfieldsch.co.uk , who will arrange for you to see the school at work, during the weeks beginning 8th and 15th October.
We look forward to meeting you on 25th September.

After record breaking GCSE results last year, Southfield School are delighted to announce an even better set of results today!
86% of Southfield School students gained a GCSE grade 4 or above in both English and maths and 92% of our girls achieved at least two GCSE grade 4s or above in science.
Furthermore, 42% of our students went on to achieve the EBACC measure (GSCE passes in English, maths, science, humanities and languages).
... Most importantly today’s GCSE results demonstrate that Southfield School students, of all abilities, are continuing to make excellent progress across the whole range of subject areas.
Today’s set of results is a testament to and fitting reward for a group of students who have been diligent in their work and resilient in the face of challenge.
Gratitude must, also, be extended to a group of staff who are unstinting in their commitment to our students and are always willing to go the extra mile.
