The Department of Kindness supported by Southmead Hospital Charity has been visiting maternity to encourage staff to be kind to themselves, take breaks and look after each other.
We received this lovely email today, thank you 🙏.
"We attended for our 20-week antenatal growth scan. This is our first baby so we were feeling nervous. Our sonographer was Katherine Thompson and I just wanted to say she was great. She made us both feel at ease and took the time explaining everything really carefully and kindly. Her manner was just what we needed and we were grateful to have her!"

Cossham Birth Centre Tours
Mums-to-be and their families can book a tour of Cossham Birth Centre, Bristol.
Tours run every Saturday and Sunday at 11am and can be booked by emailing CosshamHomebirthTeam@nbt.nhs.uk
