‘Lifelines’ by Andy Croft & Mike Pilavachi. “Walk with biblical heroes of the faith and learn from their successes, struggles and failures. What if, during a battle with fear, we could take some tips from David? Or in wrestling with a relationship, we could learn from Ruth? Or when we’ve got questions about the future, we could sit down with Joseph? Through their successes struggles and failures, these men and women of faith have blazed a trail for us to follow. We can walk beside them, discover God with them. Their stories took place thousands of years ago, but what their lives teach us has never mattered more.” Only £9.99

We would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has given to the suspended coffee scheme over the last week. The response has been amazing. We have enough to keep us going for awhile! Being able to walk into a cafe and get a hot drink and a friendly chat is so appreciated by all those who get one. Thank you, all of you, for enabling us to do this!

To all our lovely customers.....
Over the past few weeks we have found it increasingly hard to keep up with the demand for suspended coffees. We having still been giving them out but paying for them ourselves. However, business is quiet this time of year and we can’t keep doing this alongside all our other costs. If you feel you would like to support this work by enabling us to give out a hot drink, an encouraging word and a big smile then please get in touch.
Our phone numb...er is 01704 542226
Or you can make payments into our PayPal account at laura.arch@sky.com
Thank you everyone xx

To all our cafe customers.....we are closed now until the 3rd April.
The bookshop is open as usual.
We hope you all have a blessed Easter. Thanks be to God for all He did for us in Christ Jesus
... ‘Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death, even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.’ Philippians ch 2

A HUGE THANK YOU to all our customers who have donated to the suspended coffee scheme. This enables us to give a hot drink to those who can't afford one in this freezing cold weather. It may seem like a small thing but it is so appreciated by everyone who gets one. Not only is it warming physically but it also comes with a kind word and a cheerio hello. If you would like to donate to the coffee fund then pop in the cafe or you can give via paypal using my email laura.arch@sky.com

HELP! We have run out of suspended coffees. If you would like to donate to this scheme then give us a ring on 01704 542226. It’s a wonderful opportunity to be able to provide a warm drink and a friendly word to someone who needs it! They cost £2 each and for every coffee bought we match it as a cafe!
