We've been going for the last three or four years and always really good day. Plenty of food to sample and buy, lots of great food stalls seeking anything from Persian food, Mexican, Thai, English and American. We even got sauces from "a taste of Borneo", which is the first time I have seen anything like that in ANY food fayre / festival. Great atmosphere in the park. A great afternoon out I'd definitely recommend to anyone
We went yesterday having not been for a couple of years and was very impressed, it's got a whole lot bigger, fantastic choice of food and good portion sizes for the price! All round great event and won't be leaving it another 2 years before we go again. Well done to all who helped organise it!
This is a festival that we have put in our calendar every year for the last few years, travelling by train from Manchester to attend. We've always been very lucky with the weather with me getting sunburnt again this year (despite the suncream)! This year seemed a little bigger than previous years. Loads of choice of food and in all honesty, very reasonably priced compared to similar festivals that I've attended. You can get a huge variety of different foods from all over the world, something for everyone, plenty of meat options for the carnivores among us and also a good selection of vegetarian/vegan alternatives. Most places have food options from around £5 and alcoholic dribks available from £3 for a pint at the red star stall and £3 for a house g&t at wine rack stall. Of course there are more expensive options available as well, but essentially, you don't need to go and spend an absolute fortune. Due to this it makes it a family friendly event that is not going to break the bank! Would definitely recommend to anyone and hope to return again next year.
The variety of stalls is brilliant there's so many. All the different smells from the many food stands was delicious. We had a brilliant time tasting cheese and the spirits even tried some flapjacks and marshmallows, my daughter was so happy when we reached the bouncy castle & slide. We visit every year and every year it just gets better and I think bigger and again the weather was lovely. Defiantly recommend putting this in your diarys x
The best Food and Drink festival we have ever attended. Brilliantly planned and laid out enabling plenty of room for people to get around all the stalls. Plenty of seating and entertainment. Even the toilets were kept clean. Can't wait for next year.
Have enjoyed every Southport Food & Drink Festival since the event started - it just keeps getting better and better.
Huge crowds this weekend, amazing atmosphere, and huge choice (would have taken me a year to get round it all), and once again, glorious sunshine.
Best of all there is now a real focus on families, and so much to do for children - my daughters absolutely loved it.
Well done to the organisers for another superb job - looking forward to returning next year already.
Hats off to the organisers . It was the busiest ever today and still a well organised event. We could still get some tasty food and drinks. Plenty of bins and people keeping the site clean and tidy, including the toilets which were spotless. Take a look @seftoncouncil !
Grt festival ! Amazing variety of food n drinks and lots of fun for kids too..will def go again..cheers!
Great time had by my family and I, even better with the sun out more stalls than last year which was great as there was more choice of food and drink. Big shout out to the marshmallow stall who gave lots of samples to my very happy son haha. Looking forward to next year
Fantastic day.... made even better with fantastic weather... may it long continue .... great variety of stalls
Fabulous event. Well organised and plenty of stalls. The sunshine on Sunday made it extremely popular. More seating would have been advantageous during peak times and a disabled toilet block or changing area.
By far the best food and drink festival in the northwest
Brilliant event fab variety of stands! food choices were amazing plenty of tables and seating! Well organised lots of entertainment going on for kiddies aswell! Would highly recommend a visit
Another year, another fantastic festival!
All recovered now.... can we do it all again!?!
Great food, amazing cocktails, awesome vibe!!! #SPF&D
Absolutely fabulous today. Bigger than expected so much choice. Great to support small businesses!
A great day out - tons of choice and lots to see, do, and eat. Can't wait til next year!
A great day for all the family, will definitely go again x
Another great event this year with a fabulous selection of food and drinks - the only thing that let it down was the absence of toilet facilities for wheelchair users - the lady attending them said it was blocked. Hopefully this will be rectified by next year
