Southport Pontins Park

Accomodation was terrible and cold but 3 generate event was brill (the beds were plastic)

It is what it is and all you'd expect - fantastic - had a ball - brilliant staff - can't wait till next time 😁😁😁

As I have previously stayed at Pontins Southport I was familiar with the site at Southport.It would appear there was no change when guests the same as myself who had to make complaints to the management.One person I witnessed was given the keys to a dirty chalet,another appeared to have been duped from their original booking,in that there was a breach of contract.I myself was given the wrong keys for my chalet due to a key allocation lottery.

I'm giving this 4 stars because we mainly loved it Even had a bath and a shower. We didn't enjoy the polyester sheets! Please get proper ones even polycotton would do. I felt sorry for the staff they seemed to be worked to death. A lot of people have said bad things but ours were just small things easily solved.

We just wanted somewhere to sleep so we could go sightseeing - that's this place. It was full of kids enjoying themselves till well after midnight. Their parents must have been having to much fun at the bar. This might annoy some but we thought it was funny.

This place could be vastly improved if the chap at the top who takes home all the profit would take a bit less and pay the guys doing the donkey work more. They seemed like nice folks but at the end of their tethers.

We'd probably go again but take our own bedding.

The place is bogging . Filth is unreal . Old and dated yes fine I accept that .but pure un cleaned ?.

The bedding in the chalet had a strange odour, the chalet was fairly clean but the beds were very uncomfortable. Not enough to do there through the day. Would not go again.

Pontine needs to consider a complete rebranding and overhaul of its facilities
