We have all grumbled about the wind, but on a positive note after a long spell in, our girls get to go and have some time in the fields. The wind has dried the fields out. We are starting to think of stallions for our mares, always such a great selection, and with frozen Semen & chilled the choice becomes European! We are really liking-

It’s always nice to know how the babies that were born here are doing, and yesterday our long term good friend Paul gave us a lovely picture of Cristallos SS at his last show.

🇳🇱 V.Carla 🇳🇱 We have had this young lady 10 years now. Dam to our 4 year old Diamant De Clarity SS, 6 year old Stallion Jumped Up Z, ( SS) 2 year old Bentayga SS & last but not least 8 year old Southside High Limits, who although bred to jump, his owner has turned him into a super dressage horse. We truly believe in fate and somethings are meant to be, after spotting her in a advert as a 5 year old imported from Holland we wanted to buy her when seeing her advertised, ...unfortunately being sold quickly we missed the boat. Around a year later seeing her advertised again sadly not in the position to have any more, far to many, again she was sold on, and we waved goodbye to another opportunity to purchase her. One morning browsing the Horse and Hound we spotted a advert and thought sounding like her we contacted her owner and it was! Third time lucky and a over night trip to Yorkshire she returned home to us in Kent. Third time lucky some would say, A mare that will remain living her days with us we believe she has bred us some special foals. We believe destined to be with us.. for those who believe in this spooky stuff ..👻 Today 198 days in foal to Cicero Z van Paemel due 12th July we look forward to this date Cicero one of our favourite sires, we think a exciting cross.

❤️ Southside It’s Unique Business ❤️ One of first foals when we started having a pamper day with her owner Alicia Ball We would have loved to see what this mare would have gone on and achieved but shortly after jumping the 5 year olds, pictured on our page main picture she retired to become a broodmare. 2 foals to date one now a 3 year old her owner is very excited about Lisa Jones and a yearling bred at Beech House Stud Home of her sire the late Its the Business Due to fo...al around June this year with her owner will be foal number 3, a stallion also at Beech House Stud We have always had a soft spot for this mare and when people visit our fields they always question why we have such huge field fences - it’s due to her ! The Sun made a appearance today 🇬🇧 Diamant De Clarity SS 🇬🇧 left us and travelled to her new training stable near Maidstone. We are very pleased with the way she took everything in her stride and though we have filled Facebook with funny quirky posts about her from foal to 4 year old, she travelled like she had done it all her life. We look forward to watching her combined with the very talented young rider Ruby Fryer Showjumper who we just love the way she rides and produces all babies, we knew she was just the young lady for the job We shall watch them with interest and excitement.

Dolly to her friends will leave us tomorrow to start her career to be backed.... We are not sure whether she’s begging to go or beggging to stay! We look forward to the coming weeks to see her under saddle after being born here 4 years ago and the only one who has remained with us. We think she will look forward to doing a job,being bright gets her into mischief in the field. We shall watch the coming weeks with interest 🐎

🇬🇧 Southside Glorious 🇬🇧 jumping her way into 2020 Picture 1. Out of the late stallion Southside Vesuvius ( Clinton ) out of a Calido I mare. We shall follow her progress this year. Glory as she is know to her friends, is one of only two foals born out of Vegas,before he tragically broke his knee when away at training. Our photos arrived from Kevin Sparrow Photography, of last years foal Spider Comilfo Cat SS when he attended the Elite foal tour in 2019. What a tremendous colt he is! We know it’s only January but we are planning our stallion choices for our mares, such a choice and with frozen & chilled semen the choice is even harder, it becomes world wide! Thinking caps on!

If their... is a wise man out there, he would be a very wise man to invest in one of our babies, ( If not already) we believe we have bred some good horses, that will get recognition in years to come. We waved goodbye to Comilfo Cat SS as he headed home to his new home in Chichester by the sea! A big Thanks to Kevin @ CC Horse transportation who was a star at helping getting Spider on the lorry, and giving a helping hand before loading. Travelling a few times before with no problem it’s always easier when you have the dam on the lorry, 9 times out of ten the foal will follow. Yesterday Spider had to do it all him self with a little help of the wonderful young mare CC Van ...Wingerdhof Z, this mare is one of the nicest and quietest mares we have owned, and makes life very easy in many situations. He arrived safely at his new home. As they say there is always one! In this case Lola was the one who did not mind the flooding! It’s fun to play in the rivers running through our fields, mean while in our stables our mare & foal were not quite sure how to get into the field walking through the flooded yard! With more rain forecast for 3pm today all I can say is toll on Summer.. Mean while I hate to say it our ducks are loving the rain and mud, a great combination for worms! It really is great weather for ducks..😫😫
