I've been to this bike shop many times and have found the staff to be very accommodating and knowledgeable.

If you're looking to spend a few quid on a decent bike I'd definitely recommend this store. I purchased one last year and the service was excellent.

The first time I went in I wanted one washer for my shoe screw, Dave popped into the back and brought one out, no charge. He could have be easily just fobbed me off.

They keep a decent range of accessories and will also order in at request. Yes some things are cheaper online but you're paying for the service the likes of wiggle just cannot give.

There's also a decent coffee shop next door, would highly recommend! 👍

Called around all the shops within a 6 mile radius of me in Batley first thing on Friday morning and none could fit me in for for a couple of Tubeless tyres fitting to a new set of carbon rims until Tuesday-Thursday the next week. When I explained to the staff at Sowerby Bros Cycles that id been waiting for the wheels for a month the fitted me in straight away and did the while I waited in the shop. Fantastic service, from as ever very knowledgable staff. Its that kind of service you would go out of your way for and from now on I won't be going to the 4 shops closer to me again!

Good local bike shop. Helpful and knowledgeable. Never purchased from them, but had repairs carried out and have always been happy with both service and cost.

Only interested in road bike club customers so If you ride a mountain bike don't expect any customer service. Another problem is they don't open on a Sunday and when they are open I find the products they sell are on the expensive side.

Wheeled my MTB bike into the shop straight after a crash hoping for a quick fix after breaking the rear dropout (hanger). After two weeks they said they couldn’t source a replacement hanger. Constantly had to chase them for an update, was very little in the way of apologies for not being able to fix it and in general the level of customer service was pretty poor. Eventually gave up with them and picked up the unfixed bike and managed to find the hanger online and fix the bike myself in a matter of days.
