User

Visited here last night and had to wait outside as there was a queue to get in I suggested we go to Bella Italia across the road but soooo glad we didn't. We didn't have to wait long and we were taken to our table ( there were 6 of us) Lots of friendly staff and service was excellent. Will definitely be returning xxxx

User

Came arcross the Spaghetti House by chance and what a find. The food was to die for. Staff was so friendly and happy. Great value for money as well good size portion. I would highly recommend and we will return on our next visit to London.

User

Went for tea before a show on Thursday 19th July. Penne pesto was very good and Alison had the Spaghetti carbonara and Chelsie had the Ravioli all were great I had the panacotta with Strawberries service excellent

User

We went before the theatre. I have been to this one before and another one in Kensungton the food has always been good. Last night was no different . There was prompt service and the food was lovely . The restaurant was a little small and was offered s table that was too crampt but we were seated elsewhere , which was fine . Overall the food was good and the atmosphere was friendly. The service was good .

We came here Sunday evening during Chinese New year very busy around, i didn't expect to get a table but were seated immediately, the server was very friendly , our table was by the window looking out on the street plenty of room for us, we were served quickly, the cost was very reasonable for where we were, my kids loved the pizza, I had a white pizza the vegetables were well cooked on it, I'm surprised by other comments as all the staff were nice, the seating good ,the food hot and quick, we were given sharp knives for the pizza, I would go again and would recommend to others.

User

Popped in on the of chance the waiter was able to seat us ,really nice waiter took out order I just had salad our son in law and hubby had burger and my son had meatballs really nice atmosphere did not have to wait to long for food which everyone ate would recommend

User

Food was good; garlic bread wasn’t anywhere near garlicy enough though! Lasagne and tagliatelle were delicious, spaghetti bolognese lovely but not enough to fill a grown man who had to go elsewhere afterwards for more food! Service was ok; server was slightly limited in her understanding of me, but that may have been my northern twang! Overall, very pleasant

User

My carbonara with chicken and asparagus was lovely. Unfortunately my partners lasagne was cold even though the dish it came in was too hot too touch. Was sorted quickly but returned with more parmasan cheese on which made it sickly. Fortunately this was taken off the bill.

User

The menu is half what it used to be and really not a lot of choice. I wanted the arrabiata, which I ordered, despite only coming in a gluten free option. There were hard bits of chilli, hardly any sauce and the pasta crumbled due to being gluten free. Shame they can't offer penne with gluten, too!

User

Prime location near the theaters. Very nice restaurant, romantic. service is good...but the food could be better. The bread basket very dried ones. Don't have it. Period. The main pasta dishes was good no more then that, like the "chef" didn't put any effort doing them for you.

Went with a friend for a meal, it wasn't busy maybe 10 tables at most. Food came and while other customers were given a sharp knife to cut their pizza, the servers did not give me one and I had to wait a good while before one came over and I asked for a sharp knife, by that time my pizza was cold. What I dont understand is why give the other customers a knife when they got their pizza but I had to wait and ask for me. Calamari was tasteless,,,not seasoned at all. My partners pasta was way overcooked and heavily seasoned with black pepper(thats all she tasted, horrible after taste). considering we spent £50 we expected much better, customer service was POOR. while we ate we saw many people come to the door wait to be seated and left because no server went to them, the servers simply do not care about the customer or want people to come back again. Poor service and poor food, i will avoid this branch of spaghetti house, you are letting your whole company down with this poor poor performance. I hope IF i chose to return to one of your other restaurants that they meet expectations as 24, Cranbourn St, London WC2H 7AB failed to deliver quality and good service...everything you expect when you paying to eat out.

Considering your head office is at cranbourn street the performance by the team was SHOCKING !

the review from my mrs

Went here for a date with boyfriend since he has always spoke highly of this restaurant; albeit he has never visited this particular branch before. Nevertheless, it was extremely disappointing for a multitude of reasons: took ages to get seated, wine glass was dirty, calamari was too rubbery and under seasoned, tagletelli was sloppy and had too much black pepper leaving an unpleasant aftertaste, pizza was given without a sharp knife and by the time we were able to ask for one and it arrived the pizza had gone cold. I shall never return to this restaurant ever again. The poor customer service in this branch has let down the whole company. Another thing we noticed was other potential customers were arriving and, after not being seen to by a server, were forced to then walk back out. Clearly the people employed simply do not care about customers! I will not spend nearly £50 again on a meal that really wasn't worth it. More than disappointed as it was also the first time my boyfriend and I had eaten out in a very long time. Please do not waste your time going here!

We have eaten at this restaurant a couple of years ago and really enjoyed the food so decided to make a return visit. On arrival plenty of tables available had to ask them to replace dirty water glasses, then when our meal arrived it was luke warm and no meat or sauce in the spagetti bolognaise we sent both meals back they replaced with fresh but not a lot of difference. Will not be returning. Very disappointed.

User

I would give this restaurant no stars if I could. Came to have an early lunch and no other customers in the restaurant at the time. After we were seated myself and my friend rearranged the table slightly to make ourselves more comfortable, much to the annoyance of our hard faced server 'Giorgia' ... after practically throwing cutlery round the table and then muttering about us under her breath in what she though was a language only she can understand (unfortunately for her my friend is fluent Italian) we are our grub quickly and didn't bother with any wines or desserts... outta there as quickly as possible. Truly awful and rude!

User

I went yesterday at 22.15 for dinner with my girlfriend. The waitress was so rude! She said that she did not have a table for us but we could see at least 3 empty tables.

After that I said we were happy to wait (one table was paying already) but she replied that the kitchen was going to close in 15 minutes?! After that we checked and we saw that the kitchen closes at 11pm.

We won't come back. Definetely someone did not want to work at all.
