Spalding Fasteners is a well established business with over 20 years of history. A few years ago, its ownership was taken over by the son of the original owner and since then he has been expanding our product range and our customer base with great success.

... This is a full time, permanent position based in Fiskerton, just outside Lincoln. The initial 3 month trial period will be paid at minimum hourly wage, which will then increase, subject to successful completion of the trial.
The job title is Office Assistant and will include the following duties: • Taking customer orders over the telephone • Downloading and printing online orders • Listing products on eBay, Amazon & our website • Assisting the other office staff with accounts, filing, etc. • There will also be order picking in the warehouse, to help build product knowledge and to cover holidays, as required
Full training will be given but our ideal candidate will possess the following skills: • Computer literate • Have a pleasant telephone manner • Able to work as part of a team or on their own initiative • Prior E-Commerce experience would be useful • Own transport will also be needed as local public transport is unreliable
