I took my bike into be repaired and they added on £30 and made some excuse but looked into it later and was rubbish. Prior to this they had been overly nice that I felt incredibly uncomfortable about disputing them adding £30 on to the quoted price (no additional parts were needed) so I paid but went away feeling cheated. I still have a resentment so leaving feedback now in hope that I'll get over it. Also I'm pretty sure that they replaced things which were in working order - just to add more on to the bill. I only went to this shop to support local business in the community but now can see why people go to chain stores.

A family run business that offers a professional service at very competitive prices. According to another well known bike shop, the repair I needed for my fold up bike was complex and would take a few days. Sparks repaired my bike within two hours without any fuss. I hadn't even booked the bike in: I just popped in to see if they could do the work on a future occasion. I highly recommend Sparks.

I advise you to not going there. I bought a new bike and went to the Sparks to just check a front break. They charged me £40 to fix the break and pump the wheels, and they have told me, they checked everything. Next day I took my first ride, and I had nearly lost my mudguards, the break didn't work properly. Unfortunately i got also a flat tire. As I have 1 day off, next week I went there again. I said the break don't work properly, and I got answer."we can't touch the breaks in electric bike". Want charge me £25 for back wheel plus £60 for a new tire. Plus £10 for front one, because an electric bike. Man said to me they don't do the unbranded bike. It was my second and last time in this "service". I'm not a specialist, and they knew that, that's why tried to overcharged me. I get to Halfords on Kilburn High Road. They charged me £5 front, £5 back wheel, and said to me, it's no big difference between electric and a normal bike. SPARKS- as I'm your next door neighbour, though to be your regular customer but you fail. Thank you

The staff at Sparks are friendly, helpful and professional. As well as selling bikes they offer a great engraving service. No hesitation in recommending them.
