Specialized Concept Store Nottingham

Sat 2nd Dec visited the store with my husband to purchase his bike (specialized tarmac) Had a great set up by Phil who was very knowledgeable with lots of experience. Well looked after with a coffee while I waited patiently 😉. Highly recommend the store. Great service and friendly staff. Thanks guys

Shopped online (Rutland Cycling) and found an item that was showing as ‘in stock’ at the Nottingham branch. This was the only branch it was showing as ‘in stock’.
I placed the order, which was accepted and duly drove to Nottingham to pick it up.
“we don’t have the item, and have had this issue for ages”
So essentially you’re advertising, and taking orders for, items you don’t actually have?
2 hour round trip from Leicester.
I’ve been pretty loyal to Rutland Cycling, having worked their as a kid, when the two sites were essentially sheds, but having wasted my Sunday this has left a very bitter taste in my throat.

Recent purchase of Vado 3 and Vado 4 electric bikes and completed our first ride today - FANTASTIC!
We have spent several months looking at electric bikes and visited many stores, and it had got to be something special to make us actually purchase the bikes - well it was!!!
Exceptional service from the Team and Laurie; thank you. I actually understood electric bikes for the first time. Scheduled collection for the adjustments to be made was perfect, and again Laurie took the time to go through the bikes again. Thanks to Nathan for helping us put them on the car. Overall a very good experience and we would certainly recommend Specialized Nottingham to anyone looking/thinking about a new bike.
As for the Vado bikes - well impressed. A day round Carsington Water trying everything out and we are so pleased we are off out again tomorrow.

Update on my Specialized turbo Levo...
I took my bike to the Specialized concept store at Nottingham today for it's first service. They are First class, I left it with them and later I got a text to say the work had been done and the bikes firmware has been updated - Battery and motor!
I would highly recommend the Nottingham store to anyone in the Nottingham or surrounding areas.... :-)

Just purchased from the store; happy to do so as the guys at my local Evans Cycles didn't seem interested in taking my £1,500!!!

Love this store; the staff, obviously, know all there is to know about the brand and matching the best bike to your needs. The store itself has a great range; but on a slight negative, it would be nice to see more choice of accessories ... plus accessories from other manufacturer, not just Specialized.

Finally, they matched the price offered by Evans and even threw in some free accessories ... fantastic!

The best bike shop in Nottingham!

I turned up there at around 3:50pm on a Sunday with a broken derailleur hanger. They didn't have one in stock but found one on another bike which they removed and fitted. Extremely grateful for them getting me back up and running when I use my bike daily to commute.

Checked opening times on google.. drove for an hour to find store closed. A4 laminated sign in door with alternative opening times, saying : CLOSED TUESDAY'S! Two hours wasted.. please update your online store hours if you change them. Previously had great service here though.

Great store, I love the brand had an allez S5 2012 105 and new of the store and wanted to check it out..
The guys were helpful in advising me which bike to look for and they suggested a cheaper one !!
Which does suit my preferred type of riding . They where friendly and offered a great experience.

Bike went in late Monday for a repair and was ready to collect weds lunch time. Thank guys

attended on 30th May (Bank holiday) with my wife. She has never ridden a road bike and wanted to get one sized correctly. the service we received was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They found the right bike for her, set it up correctly and let her test ride it. she bought it... and while they were busy setting hers up i saw one i liked and ended up buying it!!! Both bikes given a quick PDI in store before we left with them. i would definitely recommend this store...

Really poor service at the Nottingham Store which is a shame because we love specialized bikes. I went there with my Dad yesterday and he was looking to test ride and buy a bike that was in the shop. We were in there 20 minutes and at one point we were the only customers in the shop but none of the staff offered to help him. We were made to feel very unwelcome. My Dad has got to wait for another bike shop to get the bike in to test ride. What a joke.
