Book an eye test today at Specsavers

I came into the store this morning, being a Specsavers customer in my hometown of Dorchester 3.5 hours away. I realized early this morning that I had come away for the weekend and only bought one contact lense, so I went in to see if there was anything they could do to help. I didn't get the name of the man that helped me but he was so helpful, couldn't do enough and found me a lense I could have, free of charge. Excellent customer service Specsavers and thank you to the man that helped in my hour of need!

Made an appointment for 3pm so I could go on my break from work. Kept waiting 30 mins so couldn't have my eyes tested and had a wasted trip. Not good. So now I have to go another time.

Appalling service! I had my eyes tested and paid for new frames - varifocal glasses and ditto sunglasses on July 8th. They were supposed to text/call/email me when they were ready, but didn't . By coincidence, my son got a text that his were ready, so I went with him and, sure enough mine were, too. (approx 22/07)

My sunglasses needed adjustments so, again, staff said they'd contact me when they were ready - approx 2 weeks. It's now 20/09 and I'm STILL waiting! I tried calling on 18/09 and got a message saying all the staff were busy, to leave my contact details and they'd call me straight back. I left a voicemail explaining that I'd been unwell throughout the summer and thus unable to make my way there to collect my specs and requested a callback - didn't happen!

I'm a pensioner and had to use some of my savings for my glasses - over £300 for the 2 pairs, so I'm REALLY unhappy with this level of 'service'
