Book an eye test today at Specsavers

User

my appointment yesterday...i was met with respect..asked was I ok to manage the stairs...i was then greeted by a young girl who explained that they were running 20.mins late , she apologised and asked did I want to wait or cancel and rebook an appointment... ok so I was there a lot longer than I had wished .... I realise sickness has no boundaries, if your ill you can't work. I have to say from Adam to Sam I could not ask for two nicer guys, very expert in their field .... so when your complaining about having to wait..just think of the staff having to take on extra clients to help their sick colleagues.

We had the best care, the sales girl was amazing

It was another busy day at Specsavers Middlesbrough. I had an eye test yesterday but couldn't find the frames I wanted. An assistant explained that the shop gets a delivery on Mondays so I decided to return. Today, I was met by Annette, who understood when I explained I wanted the same, Ultra flex frames, same colour and size, but there wasn't a pair on display. I'd spent all morning looking online for them so wasn't sure I'd be successful. Annette went away to look at the stock and came back 5minutes later having found the same pair - I was so relieved as this design has been so comfortable over the last two years. Annette's service was outstanding, I felt so well looked after and I'm so grateful. Thankyou Annette!

User

Excellent help, the optician explained what was happening with my eyes and the changes and why. Felt a lot happier after the visit and yet another pair of new glasses bought

User

Came in today with my gran for a hearing test. The lady who dealt with us was very kind and explained everything very well including answering daft questions we asked. My gran was nervous about coming in but she put her at ease and kept asking if she was okay or wanted a break. Can't praise the staff enough.

User

Opticians were fabulous with my son and myself, on time and explained everything, however the dispenser was very difficult to understand and didn't explain things very well, but overall it was a good experience

User

My husband and I had appointments yesterday for eye tests and i must admit the whole shop was manic once downstairs no one came to help us i picked two frames off a shelf then went looking for a assistant have to wait a week for my glasses i think next time i will use my local optician

User

I would rather not at this moment in time

User

Went in today look for some new glasses, pestered by staff as soon as I walked through the door, Specsavers please take note, if we need help we will ask for it, felt really uncomfortable trying to view the glasses.

User

They were running really late for my eye test, the waiting room resembled backstage at The Jeremy Kyle Show and the pushy staff were just intrested in sell, sell, sell. Do yourself a favour and use another opticians!

User

I had a 9am appointment to have my eyes tested, I got there 10 mins early. I was greeted by a really nice young man & that was the best part of my visit. Because I left disgusted 20min later with no eye test done ! Nobody came over to apologize for the delay, I could of understood if it was busy, or later in the day but not at 9 in the morning. Bad customer service. I will be going else where

User

ive made appointment 3 weeks ago for my sons check up for today for 3.20pm. we got there 3.15pm we run from a school to get there on time. looks like adults were more important to them then kids!!!end up being seen by "student" optician at 4.15pm! and hr wait with 2 kids 6 and 5 years old straight after school!!! we left the examination room at 5.12pm. Not satisfied about the results at all. DEFINITELY NOT GOING BACK!!!!

User

This is my fourth visit and will be my last, overbooked as usual, waiting room packed out and dirty, told there would be a delay of 20 mins as they had taken some emergencies! Actually the same excuse they used on the previous 3 visits,

Shocking service. I booked an appointment nearly two weeks ago, was given a card saying it was booked in. I turned up to be told ‘somebody must not have pushed the button to make the appointment’ so I wasn’t booked in. She said she could see what she could do which I appreciated, but I would have to wait an hour and a half to be seen which I wasn’t able to do. When I explained this, I was snapped at very rudely by the woman serving me because she was ‘trying to help me’ and the optician ‘was willing to see me on her lunch break’. I do appreciate that but that doesn’t mean I have the time to wait! She then proceeded to argue with me and said that there had been no bad customer service?! Driven half an hour to be embarrassed and spoken to like dirt. Back to Vision Express I think!

I purchased some memory flex glasses less than a year ago. Due to the nature of my job I said I needed something that could with hot being taken on and off. Big mistake, they have fallen apart since day one. I've called in on a number of occasions to have them seen to. Now totally misshapen and falling apart. New opticians next time.

User

I had an appointment for an eye test booked for 1:10 today.

I turned up before my appointed time.

I was kept waiting to check in, then kept waiting almost 15 minutes before a lady with an appointment AFTER mine waltzed in and said I'm early and was promptly taken through to have her eyes tested. Customer service at this branch is appalling... sort it out

User

Had to wait 50minutes BEYOND my 2pm appointment. Always the same!!

User

Been for an appointment two days in a row now - over half an hour waiting - still haven't been seen because I didn't have time to hang around. Very disappointed in service - doesn't seem anywhere near as good as it used to be.
