Was at Specsavers Braintree branch yesterday for a long awaited Eye test..have been having Eye infection since October last year, and had to keep cancelling..they were so good about it, and it was them that referred me to the Eye Clinic at Broomfield.

I saw a lovely Opthalmologist yesterday, who done a detailed Examination of my right Eye, where I had the infection, and explained to me what to expect, even though it's cleared up, I will still suffer some blurriness..

Went and chose my new Glasses...again, very helpful Assistant, and getting fitted for them...be ready in 2 wks.

Fantastic service all round..

It was a pleasure to actually have my eyes tested! A lovely lady called Jennifer saw me first, and the optometrist Surita was really very chatty and friendly. Good job!!!

Take my advice and go alsewhere.

I collected some new specs from there Northampton store and after walking home I noticed they were damaged (scratched lenses and frame), telephoned them within an hour of leaving the shop so that they could put it right under there no quibble, no fuss satisfaction guarantee, told to return them, but now I've returned to the shop they quibbled and made a fuss and have been told they will not do anything!!!!

Said they would not supply glasses in the condition mine are in ?
