RIDI Leuchten GmbH acquired the Spectral brand in the summer of 2010, and now sells and develops this design-orientated luminaire range as one of its own product lines throughout Europe.

Ridi is one of today’s most significant manufacturers of technical luminaries with branches and representations across the whole of Europe. A product range encompassing a wide selection of proven luminaire models, the on-going development of new luminaire designs and bespoke production of non-standard models all testify to RIDI’s credentials as a quality manufacturer. RIDI excels in the field of light planning, from the simple lighting solution through to highly complex lighting control systems.

The production facility in Jungingen encompasses a production area of around 35, 000 square metres, and also home to the company’s administrative headquarters. The Jungingen location concentrates on louvred luminaries, lighting systems, architectural lighting and no-standard luminaries.

It also produces a large number of luminaire components to supply the factories in Zeuthen and Rellingen.
Over a production area of 15, 000 square metres, the Zeuthen factory manufactures downlighters, diffuser luminaries, pendant luminaries and continuous lighting systems. The Rellingen site covers an area of 2, 800 square metres, and concentrates exclusively on parts for the RIDI LINIA continuous lighting system. The high volumes required for this product series means that production is largely automated.
