Also a requirement for part time home deliveries around MANCHESTER. Multi drop work to every house in selected areas. Can be done day time, evening or weekends.
Plus 1 employed driver required to work three 12 hour shifts Friday, Saturday and Sundays.

If you live outside of the United Kingdom and you are asked for money for delivery of a parcel supposedly sent via a company with a very similar name to SPEED COURIERS please do not pay. We do not have offices outside of the UK. If you have been promised something that sounds too good to be true, then it almost certainly is too good to be true. Recent hot spots for these scams have been South East Asia, more recently Africa and the latest is Mexico.
The s...cams usually invlove expensive gifts or business opportunities from strangers known only via Facebook/the internet. You will be befriended by a stranger who then uses a fake courier company (various couriers have had their websites copied) to deliver non existant items. The fake courier will ask for payment prior to delivery. If in doubt tell them you will pay either when the courier delivers or collect the items from the couriers office.

Sadly the internet has it's share of fraudsters and one of the current scams is as follows.
Mr Thief sets up a fake facebook profile and befriends innocent people, usually ladies. After a while Mr Thief promises to send a very expensive gift to the victim elsewhere in the world. The potential victim is of course excited.
... Mr Thief has copied our website, though changing some of the details and using a derivative of the "Speed Couriers" name. He even sends a copy of a fake delivery note to make it appear more convincing.
The innocent victim is then contacted by the fake courier company and asked to pay various fees, customs charges, import duty etc ranging from $200 up to $10,000. Yes up to $10,000. You may think thats incredibly high, however the valuble gift(s) form the facebook admirer is of course worth a lot more than that so the victim is prepared to pay substantial sums of money to receive the gift.
However once paid, the gift never arrives and the victim searches the web for any links to any derivative of "Speed Couriers" only to find out they have been duped.
Fortunately some of the potential victims are wary and contact us before they pay any of the charges and we inform them of the scam.
This scam is more common than you think and we currently are being made aware of 5 attempts a week. Who knows how many more scams go through?

Recently, a motorcyclist has been caught using a James Bond style licence plate to conceal his real licence plate from the police. The culprit orchestrated this all to avoid receiving a speeding fine. Traffic police in Spain discovered the modified license plate fitted to the bike of a Swiss national had the ability to flip up at the press of a button in order to conceal it from police and traffic cameras. Stupidly left my phone in someone's car and needed it the next day. First thing in the morning I managed to organise a pick-up for midday. I checked a couple of companies as this was my first time using a courier and Speed Couriers was half the price. They even allowed me to pay once I'd got the phone as my card was in my phone case.

Left my laptop in a cab in Manchester (duh) and on a tight deadline, Chris sorted it this morning and got it to Lancaster in time for someone there to bring it back to London for me. THESE GUYS ARE GOOD!! I'm really grateful - I only tried them after a false start with another company who couldn't do it in time and a second company who refused the job because I had originally given the business to another company!!! As it turned out, Speed were the cheapest of the lot anyway!! Two fingers to the company who turned down the business and a big up to Speed!
