Construction of a new sports hall together with the provision of fitness and hospitality suites.

A MULTI-MILLION pound project to extend facilities at Bromsgrove School includes the refurbishment of existing sports facilities and the addition of a new sports complex, including teaching rooms and a hospitality suite.

The new indoor sports arena is one of the largest any school has built, with bleacher seating for 900 people, built to national standard. A new fitness centre, café, refurbished swimming pool and changing rooms also form the new sports facilities, with a covered walkway linking the new the hospitality and sports suites. A new build hospitality suite overlooks netball and hockey courts incorporating new dance studios and a viewing area for the redesigned swimming pool.

A new 3 storey, 70 bed en-suite Mary Windsor girls’ boarding house has also been built alongside refurbishment of the existing Oakley Boarding and Page Boarding Houses, along with new boarding house parent accommodation. These magnificent new buildings stand proud near a brand new entrance, gate house and car park, realigned for access from an elegant, straight approach road.
