We are somewhat of a regular to this place and that's because the food is 110% and the value is great. When delivered, the food is always hot, the staff are always respectful and the overall experience is fantastic. The Lamb Tikka Masala is the best ever tasted and the Chicken Tikka Bhuna is beautiful. There are often freebies thrown in for those regular customers too. Thanks Spice!

So my wife is 39 weeks pregnant and with the baby fully in position I thought I would follow the old wives tale of having spicy food to help induce labour. If it works great, if not it's another great excuse to have spice takeaway. The staff were fantastic after mentioning the reason for tonight's meal they called to congratulate us and to try and help by sending a couple of free spicy compliments to the order. As usual the portions were big portions and the food was amazing as always. Whether it will help with bringing our child into this world is a different matter. Highly recommend this takeaway which is my favorite in st Austell.

Ordered take away last night 26th December, was a little apprehensive as had order from here before, but had been told it had new owners. Was really impressed great customer service, the lady on the phone was really helpful, the food was amazing it arrived on time plus it was piping hot, portions were huge. Was a naan bread missing rang up and was asked did I want 1 sent out or a free one next time no hassle at all! Looking forward to the next take away!

Order a takeaway tonight and the service was brilliant and they sent us loads of freebie coz we spent over £40 the food was very tasty to thanks guys we really enjoyed it.

I tried another curry on Saturday from the extensive dishes offered. This time the Naga Chicken 😈

Plenty of heat but could taste the spices... in my opinion the secret of a well blended curry and a great chef. 😊 I am going to work my way through the menu!

I had indian takeaway for the first time in ages and I've got to say my Lamb - roganjosh was on point, it was so tasty and full of flavour. Fast service and my food was really hot still when I got it home... Will definitely be having it again on cheat day.

I always like to sample the food several times before leaving a review. I have to say, me and my partner have eaten from here 4/5 times now and we have been very pleased every time. We don’t go anywhere else now for takeaway Indian. Keep up the good work guys!

Not ordered for a long time, heard that the place was under new management so decided to give it a try.



Definitely the best curry in St Austell and will be ordering again soon.

This was our first time trying Spice & we will definitely order again. My lamb tikka balti was really good (although possibly a little on the pricey side) & my husband liked his chicken tikka biryani. Shame about the tinned veg tho. The delivery took an hour & a half rather than an hour but that was ok. The delivery guy made up for that ;)! The food was piping hot when it arrived so overall we were very happy with our meal.

Have to say it. This place has improved massively over the last few months. I’ve been here a number of times recently and every meal has been superb.



Only slight criticism which I mentioned on a visit is the small sizes of some starters.



Taste and flavour is impeccable as is the service.

Ordered spice on Saturday evening, food was nice however we ended up having to pay well over £10 delivery, was not impressed seeing as we only live 6 miles away! However when questioned was told this was correct!

Will be collecting our food in the future!

Had my first meal from new spice this evening....had a huge bark of cinnamon in my mushroom rice which was unexpected and made rice taste overwhelmingly of cinnamon...lamb madras was nice but lacked slightly in spice and pieces of onion etc. Jalfrezi was good. Onion bhaji's were a bit greasy. Overall not bad but not great either.

We always used to use this takeaway and each and every time it was sublime. But the last two times we had food much of it was disappointing, this time we ordered passanda and tikka massalla but both turned up with the same sauce and the chicken was tough and chewy where previously it had been succulent and juicy. Our mushroom rice was mixed spicy rice yet another disappointment, also the naan arived with luminous orange butter inside we used to like how natural everything was. We won’t be ordering again

Amazing food if you get it we have had to cancel 3 big orders ( amounts ranging from £50-£80 for friends over)now as just too late and kept getting excuses on phone girl on phone sadly lacked customer service skills and didnt seem at all botherd we rang thro about our order once as 2 1/2 hrs we'd been waiting only to be told it wasnt even dished up yet let alone on way and was told it was only going to be an hour

Very disappointed as as i said amazing food when it does turn up

Sadly we will not be ordering from them anymore
