For all you seafood lovers! MACHI CHETTINAD This is a gorgeous dish to go for; Talapiya fish is the native fish of Africa and the Middle East and is widely used in Indian cuisine. The fish is filleted and marinated in a combination of lemon juice & mustard oil, and then shallow fried to allow plenty of flavour to be absorbed into the fish. The fillets are then cooked with coconut milk, onion, tomato, garlic, ginger, black pepper & mustard seeds, ready for garnishing with herbal overtones of curry leaves.
Mouthwatering!

What a fab place! Stunning food and fab atmosphere � will be calling again that's for sure �thanks for birthday gift for our friends!

We went here today for an Anniversary meal and chose from the Lunch Menu, a starter and main.

Service was excellent as was the food. I had already been here a while ago with friends and was keen to bring my husband to try it.

Lovely food with such amazing flavours - I would recommend to all as both times I have been here the food has been delicious.

All dishes were piping hot, straight to the table, just as it should be.

Compliments to the Chef today - thank you, we will definitely be back.

I have been enjoying eating and making curry for many years and can say this was one of the best. Nice to have authentic Indian food (Hyrdrebadi I'm told) as a change from the usual Sylethi style. The Tilapia was really fresh and cooked perfectly in a great sauce. My brother had a chicken mangalore which was also top notch. Nice place and will go again to try more dishes.

I had the most original, perfectly weird and weirdly perfect curry ever last night. Combination of Cantonese and Indian - a totally unexpected and wonderful combo. Chicken Chengizi is the dish in question. Dare to try something different that'll blow your mind with flavours - seriously.

Very over priced. Unable to eat the mains. Rice was dry and flavourless. Curry had been duped to substitute a phal. A waiter turned up when we had (all four of us) given up, and told us that he could then change the meals. I had already complained about it. My advice is stay away.

The place inside is nicely decorated and seating comfy. However in regards to food not great asked for pilau rice and got what looked like wet uncle bens rice and also peshwari naan which wasn't correctly made and the coconut was squeezing out the side when trying to take a bite and probably the worst I have had felt like I was eating a bounty! Chips were under cooked and soft and my chicken wasn't great. All in all poor food from what looked to be a nice place from the outside.

Started off fine fresh poppadoms and tasty dips but unfortunately the rest was awful. We were a table of 4 and not one of us liked our meal and not much was eaten. Very expensive and substandard food would not recommend and will never return

Very expensive and a limited menu. The lamb suganda curry was inedible and tasted like it had been spewed onto the plate from a tin. The jalfrezi curry had slightly more taste but again it was disappointing. We ended up spending £80 for two in this restaurant and left most of our food to which they also didn't give an option to box up to take-away (not that we would have). Still, apart from this experience, we had a lovely time in Liverpool!

The food preparation standard in this place was an absolute disgrace, raw chicken was placed in the floor for the whole two hours I was sat in the restaurant by the kitchen. Freshly cooked sauces also piled up in saucepans on the floor. When this was highlighted to stag they said it had just been placed in the floor while they cleaned, rubbish liers.

The chef spent most of his time outside smoking and each time he went out he never washed his hands once in return. A disgrace and expensive.
