Spice Lounge presents a Murder Mystery Night in association with Bishop Auckland Theatre Society.

So much choice on the menu! The food is unreal and the staff are so lovely and welcoming.

I love that they run different themed nights and I can’t wait for my second gin night this Friday!

Lovely food, always good service. It's a very busy restaurant, so it's definitely doing something right 👍. The wait between starter and main gives enough time for one to go down before starting another, they are not trying to rush you through the courses which is nice. Portions are generous, atmosphere is great, definitely a place to go.

To be honest I ordered the wrong darned meal;

Some special with meat n prawns, to mild for me I feel.



The fact is it stayed in me for less than two hours;

Then I lost weight rapidly due to 'Ablution' powers.



Strangely: We'd had a conversation about filtration through molluscs and crustacia;

The micro beads from toothpaste must have done the rounds via Asia!!



Today I just felt lighter with no lingering after effect;

Everyone else was fine methinks, all enjoyed the Evening I expect.

Always loved the food from here both take away and eating in the restaurant however tonight’s take away was well below the usual standard and I am bitterly disappointed. My naan bread was cold and dry and the masala sauce was very watery and without the usual flavour.the rice on my plate was literally swimming in water and was therefore soggy too. What a shame.
