We went last night for my friends 40th birthday and the food was out out of this world! The staff couldn't have done enough for us! Cannot wait to go back again! Brilliant is the only word I can use to describe the place. X

We visited recently, with a party of 14 to celebrate my Sons 18th Birthday . From start to finish the whole evening was fantastic . The Manager was lovely and all the staff went above and beyond to make sure the evening was enjoyed by all. The food was lovely and everyone who visited said they would definately return again.

Would highly recommend and as a family look forward to our next visits ....

Thankyou so much for making it such a special evening x

Visited with my sister in law tonight for a psychic night with Ann Anderson, a Medium.

Fantastic food, fantastic staff that actually came over to talk to us and asked us if we were enjoying our night. Will definitely be back! Thanks for making us feel extremely welcome in your restaurant.

This has always been my favourite Indian restaurant. I have never had cause to complain about the food, drinks or service. Once I was sat too near the air con and was cold and they went to great pains to move our tsble and mske me comfortable x lovely hosts here , whether they genuinely do remember me each time I go in or not I will never know, but I am always made to feel welcome and as if I am personally remembered x

I would and do recommend Spice of India to anyone looking for a good Indian restaurant x

Had a great night with the mediums and buffet deal. Although there was only myself and my bff we had a party of 4 on our table whom we had never met,.but had a great night discussing what we were told. Mine was spot on and so was some of there's. Meal and service as usual excellent, well worth booking .

User

Great food and marvellous friendly atmosphere. Perfect night out.

User

Exceptional service from start to finish. Could not fault anything this evening and the food was hot, delicious and served at the right pace. The staff made the visit even better... So polite, courteous, and on hand to serve without having to be asked. Highly recommended!

User

An impromptu visit last night and the food was superb. We asked for a dish which was not listed on the menu and when it came out it was cooked to perfection.. will definitely be heading back soon.. thanks guys

User

We had a great night food lovely but not has good as my family being there loved it big time thank you everybody .im having another birthday next week.xxxx

User

Lovely restaurant, very friendly and helpful staff, foods tasty and plenty of it. Poppadoms and pickle tray was lush. Ordered too much so one of the waiters boxed our left overs up to take home. Would only mention that if you want a quiet romantic meal where you don't have to shout at each other over the table avoid later on a Saturday night. Very busy and noisy. Looking forward to eating there again soon.

User

Had to wait a while to be served due to how busy the place was such is it’s popularity, food was as enjoyable as ever

User

Service has gone down hill last few times I've been in didn't take the order correctly had to ring me back went to collect it came out half hour they said it would be ready that's over an hour from placing the order when collecting as well and then had missing food had to go back in to get the rest. Disappointed shame used to be good.

Having used this restaurant for over 20 years, in fact since it opened, tonight unfortunately will be the last time, to be told on ordering a takeaway it would be 40 minutes, took two hours, a wasted evening of waiting for what turned out to be a poor meal, vote with your feet and choose other restaurants in Syston that will appreciate your custom and not abuse your reputation.

User

This used to be my go to Indian Restaurant but the past couple of years the service has been shocking.

This weekend we went for a birthday meal. It was over an hour after we finished our poppadoms before we actually got our food. We waited almost as long for drinks too and even had to hunt down staff to order more drinks.

The food finally came and it was missing the onion bhajis. We found a staff member again and got them but well have been a ball of salt.

This is the general level of service we've had there recently but there's never an apology of any sort.

User

Ordered from here first time last night. 29 pound so would of rather chucked in the bin! Curry was bright red watery no flavour. Mango chutney was watery. Nan bread was dry and went hard after five minutes best part of it was the bloody popdoms. Sticking to Vishal from now on 👍

User

Been here few times but this time it was really poor experience. Service was very slow...then the food had no taste and when we complained we got told it was all fine...no courtesy from the staff to replace meal or anything...really unhappy with the stuff....ignorant and disrespectful. It was a double birthday and it turned out to be really bad experience...waste of money.

User

Absolutely awful, I ordered a delivery for 2 curry’s, a naan, rice and some chips. Got told it would be 1 hour 20 minutes I waited in total 2 hours 50 minutes so I cancelled it, they was saying it was on it’s way for 45 minutes and they’re sorry because “ the drivers cars not working at the minute “ would not recommend
