Rising from the ashes of the Spicy Mint Restaurant in Rusholme, Spicy Mint Takeaway is born, located opposite the Showcase Cinema at Belle Vue, Gorton, Manchester.
Sadly the owner of the former Spicy Mint Restaurant, Shabir decided to call it a day due to ill health after 20 proud and triumphant years serving the regular customers of Manchester's Curry Mile. Upon closing the restaurant Shabir very graciously allowed his former team to continue the name and indeed helped develop it's new format, so the Spicy Mint torch could burn on!
Moji and the remaining team decided to leap at the chance to create this new venture as it would simply be a travesty to let their collective years and skills in the food industry go to waste, meanwhile hoping to quench the appetite of the customers they have known for so many years in the process.
Driven by their passion to produce quality, affordable Indian and Pakistani food to the masses they were itching with excitement to get this new venture off the ground as quick as practically possible.
The new format allows them to demonstrate their exceptional Indian and Pakistani flair, whilst also allowing them to add traditional Kebabs and Pizzas to their luscious menu.

Outstanding! I was a regular - and I mean regular - at Spicy Mint on curry mile, Manchester. I'm overjoyed that Spicy Mint has reopened here under new management. I ordered my usual dish, and I'm so happy to be transported back to excellent quality and taste! We travelled 25 mins to enjoy Spicy Mint tonight. It's worth that and far more! On my goodness what can I say, just had the best curry since September last year, even though we have been going to Rusholme for a curry every Friday night since the original Spicy Mint closed. You have a taste that is so distinct, haven't been able to find anything that matched your chicken Mesti, it was fabulous and I'm sure all your other curry dishes are just as good. Mo and colleagues, it was that good, I'm going to bake you some cakes!!! Can see we are going to be making regular trips to Gorton for the best curry in Manchester.

Just had our first takeaway from spicy mint takeaway and it’s got to be said, well worth the 40minute round trip. Even the poppadoms were excellent. Best curry I’ve had in a long time. Will definitely be calling again. Thanks guys, you’re the best!
I'd if given more stars if I could. So miss having a curry at the spicy mint on the curry mile. Tonight the take away we had was as good as any meal we've had . So lovely to see the guys in there again you are all fantastic. Tried other places since the restaurant shut but nothing compares so it's curry take outs from now on at the best place to go by miles . See you all soon xxxxx
I have been going to spicy hut/spicy mint for years. It has always been my favourite curry house on the curry mile and I was sad to see it go after they announced the closure of the restaurant....however i could not contain my excitement when I saw the signs go up at the new takeaway and the restaurant confirmed they'd handed the business over to their lovely friendly staff who are committed to providing great service and amazing food! (Generally I'm a right complainer when it comes to eating out and I can honestly say over all the years I have never had so much as 1 bad meal from this place!!).... I have been twice now since it has opened and the food is just as amazing as it always has been!! Well done spicy mint for finally bringing a decent takeaway to gorton!! I'm sitting in next time for a propper meal as its set up so lovely...can we bring our own wine?? ���
First visit to the new Spicy Mint - wonderful delicious food (especially the legendary Malai Kebabs) and the same friendly staff. Highly recommended. We'll be back soon!

Best takeaway on Hyde road in my opinion. Friendly staff and great food. Definitely recommended also ordered a takeout and it still very warm when I got it on point packing. Keep up the good work
