We have just completed 5 weeks of puppy training with our 4 month old Border Terrier, Eddie.

We all learnt a great deal, lots of techniques and tips which Eddie responded well too. Well delivered courses which packed in a great deal of content.

Lots to practice over the next month before we start Obedience Level 1 and agility when he is old enough!

We would definitely recommend Spinky's Pet Corner.

We adopted Rocky in February 2017 and are very grateful to Alistair who helped us transform a very nervous little dog who was frightened of his own shadow, into a happy and confident little fella who has settled well into our family and is adored by all the grandchildren! He can be a bit wilful at times and is still working on recall off the lead, but is generally well behaved and obedient. Thank you Alistair! Hope that you enjoyed Christmas and best wishes for 2018!

Very happy with the training of my 16 month old GSD.

Alistair has been great with us and uses very sound technique which provide a basis for achieving a good standard in all the disciplines they need to progress to Obedience/Agility/ Working trials.

Most important of all he makes sure you understand why you are doing the things he is teaching to understand your dog better. He is very patient me as I need more training than my very clever dog and will happily over things until you get it ! X

Happy to recommend him to friends and family.

Rosie and I are coming to the end of our puppy class. We have had some challenges along the way but I feel what Alistair has helped most with is to understand Rosie. To have the ability to pick up on Rosie's signals to support her to socialize more has been invaluable. I cannot thank Alistair enough. I would recommend this course to any dog owner who wants to have a well balanced dog and we have progressed to the dog classes at a weekend to further benefit from Alistair's expertise. Although she is a difficult dog I feel with Alistair's support Rosie and I are bonding and forming a good relationship between us.

I wondered is it worth the cost and travel would I get along with the trainer is he the best several more questions came to mind as I went to see Alistair well in one word YES . We met and at once I could feel it was the best thing I could do for my dog. He was professional in the way he conducted my first lesson with him. Well spoken and he knew and showed me in easy stages how me and my collie could be helped. I was looking for direction and motivation and how I could train my dog to be the best she could be, and now I can't wait for my next lesson and future ones. Afterwards I felt renewed and full of motivation. If you want the best for your dog then get in touch with him, he is one of the best.. Roy..

I came to Alistair as a desperate last resort. Our 1yr old Pug had had a bad experience at a groomers and had gone from being a laid back, loving, relaxed little girl to an anxious, restless and fearfull dog that developed all sorts of coping behaviours. I honestly thought the little Miss we absolutely adored was gone for good. Alistair came and observed and set a training plan for us to follow and although we still use the training plan she is on the way back to being the dog we knew!! As a family we could not thank him enough, a happy dog and a very happy family!

Alistair has run a four week course for our lively, enthusiastic, energetic German Shorthaired pointer puppy, Hobson. He has expertly and diplomatically identified some rooky errors and bad habits that my husband and I have got into and has shown us a variety of ways to make corrections.

I am particularly impressed with the wide range of techniques that Alastair has at his command. If our puppy doesn't respond to a particular challenge Alastair can swiftly change tack, keeping the puppy's interest and inviting him to engage.

Alastair doesn't use aggressive language or behaviour at all but instead uses encouragement and consistency which our puppy really responds to.

We have seen a significant improvement in our puppy's behaviour as well as in our own understanding and communication with him.

Happy to recommend and worth every penny!
