Spiral Cycles

After reading a couple of reviews from customers that feel that they have had bad service from these guys at Sprial, I feel it's only right to write a review about the excellent service and we can solve it attitude I have always received from the guys at Sprial Cycles since buying my new bike from them back in March this year. I had a couple of niggles with my new mountain bike and on every occasion I rang the shop I was told to bring bike in straight away and the issues where dealt with. I've been to Afan and Yorkshire so far this year and the guys have prepared my bike each time and my bike has performed faultlessly. All in all a first class service from a first class bike shop.

Right where do I start. Took bike in for a replacement hose on my front brake. Was told 48hr turn around and quoted 19.99 three days later no response so I called shop only to be told that my brake lever had been broken and a replacement had been ordered. I asked my daughter who is 15 to pop in shop and check status, the people in the shop were rude and laughed in her face making a young girl feel very uncomfortable. I finally got my bike back nearly 4 weeks later only to find out the brake lever does not match the one that was broken.

Appalling customer service and a shoddy repair.

Avoid this shop use Halfords or even a non local shop. Shocking

Halfrauds seem to know absolutely nothing about hollowtech bottom brackets, and another local shop just wanted to completely rip me off for tightening one.

Only ever experienced great service from the team at Spiral Cycles. Nice to go somewhere with knowledgeable staff where you don't feel rushed. They were even able to fix my sons pram when I experienced a flat tyre in town one day! Very helpful, thank you.
