At Spire Alexandra Hospital our services are available to everyoneOur services are available to everyone – whether or not you are insured with BUPA, AXA PPP, Aviva or another private health insurance company. If you are paying for your own treatment, we offer one-off private treatment at Spire Alexandra Hospital, with a fixed price agreed in advance. We also offer a selection of procedures to NHS patients on behalf of the NHS.
Spire Alexandra Hospital offers exceptional facilities including 36 private rooms all of which have en-suite facilities, TV and telephone. There are two extensively equipped operating theatres, backed up by a high dependency unit, all of which are staffed 24 hours a day to provide dedicated patient care in a clean and comfortable environment.
In addition, Spire Alexandra Hospital offers a wide range of medical and surgical services with very high standards of clinical care.

Today marks our first 'Long Service Afternoon Tea' with our Hospital Director Chloe Senneck. These particular members of staff have been at the heart of Spire Alexandra Hospital collectively for a whopping 179 years.

Caroline McGovern our HCA Ward nurse has given 29 years of service, Tracey Wood our Ward Administrator has given 30 years, Chris Gentry our registered ward nurse has served 30 years, Gill Guiver governance administrator has given 29 years a...nd last but not least our Jan Peters, registered ward nurse has dedicated 30 years.
Unfortunately Karen Harrington, our x-ray receptionist, managed to sneak out of the picture! ... But she also spent 31 years working with Spire Alexandra.

As the Bank Marketing and Communications Assistant you will be responsible for all social media activity on a daily basis. Wonderful hospital staff were very attentive throughout my stay. Excellent room and was made to feel relaxed through the whole procedure.
I'd like to pay special thanks to my anesthatist too. I've had many operations and it's the first time I've really been listened too about the problems I have. She changed the procedure for me and I had no side effects. Wonderful care
Was looked after very well. Staff are amazing in particular Sylvia who was very kind and caring. Follow up care was good and all the staff from professor to hostesses were very warm and welcoming.
Was admitted Saturday as a day case which lead to an overnight stay.
From the cleaners, to the ladies serving food/tea and coffee, nurses and doctors they were excellent and so attentive. Having nhs treatment at the spire certainly didn’t make any difference to being treated any differently to as if I were self funding.
So lovely to have nurses who treat you as a person and not just a patient.
Would 100% recommend and would not hesitate to come back if offered nhs treatment at the spire in future.

The Alexandra is a home away from home, the friendly faces, detailed care and quick service are second to none. Maddie and Donna particularly have been amazing nurses and really looked after me. I couldn't recommend this place more. Thank you so much.
Thank you for making my hospital experience a happy one, was looked after 100% from the moment I walked through the door. Every member of staff was amazing nothing was too much trouble for them and I was kept up to date on every detail of my procedure. 100% recommend this hospital to anyone.
Only had an overnight stay and small op. But it has been a lovely experience. Staff were wonderful and clearly compassionate to your needs. Food was lovely and fresh. Private room with free view tv and ensuite with ample towels.
My body struggles with anesthesia and strong pain relief but I woke from my op feeling fresh and much better than the usual NHS.
I would definitely recommend this hospital if you have a choice.

I have had two visits now, yesterday being my last and I was kept in longer than before but the care I received was amazing, I wa left to sleep off my anaesthetic, I was checked on but left undisturbed. Would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone.
I am currently here now waiting to be discharged after an overnight stay after having surgery with Dr Kasem.
He is an amazing surgeon and I am so happy with my results and glad I choose him to do my procedure. The nurses and other members of staff who looked after me were very friendly, helped me feel relaxed and put my mind at ease. I received great aftercare and I’m booked in for a check up already for next week.
I also saw Dr Penman for both my children’s baby scans and he was lovely spot on got the genders right both times at 11 weeks and he reassured me after Medway Hospital thought something was wrong with my first born.
Great hospital and I would recommend them to anyone.
Great experience. Arrived 5 minutes before my appointment, filled out a form. Receptionists and staff in the X-Ray section were very friendly. Was then asked to sit in the waiting area and in less than 5 minutes was called in for my ultrasound scan.
Scan completed and I was back out and on my way back to my car within 20 minutes form my initial arrival time. Amazing.
Extremely clean with fantastic staff, the food is very good too with a varied menu. This is my third visit here and it makes huge difference to your stay in a lovely environment.

Great to me when I had injections in my knee. Clean and professional. However should have had a follow up after three months but nothing. Seven months have passed and I have to go back now to my GP to get a referral.�
No aftercare and the aftercare that was provided was wrong my partner almost died because of a serious infection due to this appalling service and when he begged for someone to help he was passed from pillar to post because he had this treatment on the nhs and wouldn’t have made anymore money I’m so glad I didn’t take inspire health insurance u are money grabbing greedy cowboy surgery’s and after that u called him more than 5 times for gossip u should be shut down you are a disgrace he’s proberly going to have to have further correction surgery because of you I would not recommend this hospital to anyone at all unless you have a serious death wish !!!!!
