Spire Elland Hospital Description

Spire Elland Hospital offers comprehensive private hospital services to patients from Halifax, Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Todmorden and surrounding areas in Yorkshire.

Our hospital has been established in the local community for over 29 years. We have 41 single ensuite rooms, WiFi available and menu options to cater for all tastes. We pride ourselves on our clinical excellence and in 2017 the Care Quality Commission's (CQC) rated Spire Elland Hospital as ‘Good’ at looking after you and ‘Outstanding’ in effectiveness.

Our services are available to everyone – whether or not you are insured with Bupa, AXA PPP, Aviva or another private health insurance company. If you are paying for your own treatment, we offer one-off private treatment, with a fixed price agreed in advance. We also offer services to NHS patients on behalf of the NHS.

The leading private health insurance company, Bupa, has accredited the hospital as a breast care centre of excellence. Our teams also treat skin cancer, prostate cancer, bladder cancer and lung cancer. We are also a Bupa approved bowel cancer unit and provide bowel cancer screening.

Our physiotherapy team aims to provide fast, effective treatment to aid recovery from injury or after surgery. Treatment is available for neck pain, back pain, upper and lower limb problems and post-operative orthopaedics.

The consultant surgeons at Spire Elland Hospital include those specialising in plastic surgery. They perform a range of cosmetic surgery operations and treatments including breast enlargement, breast reduction, nose reshaping, facelift, eyelid surgery and abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). We also have a brand new laser for painless hair removal, tattoo removal and laser pixel treatments for facial rejuvenation. All our plastic surgeons are all on the GMC specialist register for plastic surgery.

Spire Elland Hospital has critical care level two facilities and a two bedded high dependancy unit. We treat patients suffering from conditions ranging from hernia and heart disease to thyroid problems and arthritis.

Looking for something new to read? At Spire Elland we have a book shelf next to our lifts, which is full of various genres.
You are welcome to both take and leave books; however we do ask that all new books and donations are left with our reception team. The money we make from selling these books is donated to charities that are close to our hearts.

Did you know that £400 is enough to provide a years’ worth of training to a community health worker?

They work by offering clinical healthcare training in rural communities in Africa, in turn helping provide better healthcare services. Spire Elland's challenge is to walk 1000km over the space of a week. in turn raising money for this charity. For more information on THET and our challenge visit: http://ms.spr.ly/6182TKzOj. The ageing process, pregnancy, breastfeeding and even weight loss can all conspire to make our breasts lose their firmness and full, rounded shape. For some women this can affect their self-esteem.
A breast uplift is a procedure that can improve the shape of your breasts and help you regain a younger looking physique – and get some of your confidence back. Visit http://ms.spr.ly/6180TKKjn to learn more.

We are aware that our car park can sometimes be very busy and we appreciate the difficulties this may cause. We are currently investigating the possibility of increasing its capacity. Please accept our apologies if you experience any difficulties.
