Waited 30 minutes before for assistance to try on shoes. Gave up and left.

I was after a cheap pair of footer boots for occasional vets football. The pleasant chap on the boots section directed me to a 20 quid pair of Sondico boots, which I bought, and I'm sure will do me fine.

Being old fashioned, I'm always looking for quality, and was surprised to hear, when I asked, the uppers were 'kangaroo leather'. Looked like plastic of some sort to me, but the chap was adamant. Sure enough, on getting home and googling, while top of the range Sondicos do use a bit of kangaroo leather, my 20 quidders are indeed 'simulated leather', i.e. plastic.

Just a gentle hint that with what I'm sure is a best-selling line (most football boots are a stupid price, probably because they're orange or lime green), the staff don't misrepresent what they're selling.

I got what I paid for: plastic boots for £20. Probably actually worth, oo, £3.99.

Although the prices are good the staff are very few. Not a good place to buy footwear because of this. The staff always ask you to buy a bag to help their numbers which is extremely irritating.

Spent 30mins in store, staff could not fined 2 pairs of matching sized trainers. Manager broadcasting the store locks don't work. Brillant!

Surprised to see low reviews as the Kettering store has always been brilliant. In there again today for cricket stuff. Yes it can get busy at peak times, that's the same with any branch! If that bothers you then go when it's quieter. The store was open at the time indicated on Google Maps, suspect that an incorrect time has been added onto maps in the past, any web user can suggest an edit. Lovely helpful friendly staff.

Would be helpful if it opened on time!!
