The usual range of products on sale. Alot of 'last seasons' goods at very good prices. The staff , as usual, are extremely helpful and always willing to introduce another 'useful accessory' to the growing pile of sporting goods in your basket. Parking is not free and is run by a computer number plate recognition system. Don't ener the wrong number into the system in error - they won't accept it as an excuse

Customer Service was terrible asked for a pair of trainers that wasn't the one on display as it was filthy inside. I was told if I wanted that particular size which was the display size I would have to have it. SO JUST WALKED OUT

After having read a few negative reviews of Sports direct I had been quite apprehensive about shopping there when my 7 year old son wanted some new boots with his birthday money last weekend. When we arrived it unfortunately became clear the store did not have the size we required in stock. However at this point sensing the obvious disappointment the employee kindly offered to check other stores for the size we needed or suggested to me maybe I could get the boots online instead. The employee then took the time to engage in small talk with my son about football asking him what position he played and who his favourite players were which put my son at ease and diffused what could have potentially been quite a difficult situation for me. This really was excellent service and very considerate on the employees part whose name I unfortunately didn't catch (tall with short brown hair and a dog tag chain).
All in all a very pleasant experience which has meant I will not hesitate if I need to visit the store again.

I went to Sports Direct in Darlington a few days ago. I have to say that all of the staff were extremely polite, helpful and seemed happy to be there. I specifically remembered the name of the girl who went up a ladder to get me a swimming costume down. Her name is Ebony, she is a lovely girl.

Good got some brand name walking boots , waterproof jacket and t-shirts for a very reasonable price , in fact every item was heavily discounted , I'm now able to dress for our wet summer lol

Awful! Came for some trainers on the 11/09/16 at 14:25 . Came out with no shoes as the size we wanted was pretty much sold out! And for the staff that could be bothered they tried to look! Not only we didn't get shoes but we also got a parking fine £45 if paid within a week! Modern day pirates!!

Parking ticket for 19 min stay your a joke and won't be getting paid
