It’s all about money for this gym. The customers service is the worst I have ever seen. Showers are cold most of the time due to boiler not working. Sauna has the same issue always cold. lockers and machines broken. I and 3 others wanted to leave the gym due to its standards a year ago. I emailed the manger stating why we wanted to cancel. The response was Unfortunately I am unable to cancel your membership as you need to give 6 months notice. Nothing about when they would fix the problems we had pointed out. We paid good money to use a gym and what a waste. I have spoken to the manger and again it’s all about the money. Head office have said 6 months later that we have fixed all the problems that you have pointed out but you would not have noticed as you have not used us for a while. Hmmm too late as I have left but they still want money because of the cooling of period!! Really....you can’t supply a gym that’s fit enough for monkeys let alone people. Now I have to take legal action as they have sent my membership over to a 3 rd party company. Stay away from this gym. They will screw you over. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS MONKEY PLAY PEN !🐒🐒🐒🐒

Forgot my mouth guard on a weekend away. Panic as I have to wear a mouth guard as I am a heavy grinder. Boyfriend suggested a temporary gum shield from a specialist sports shop...dubious we set off on our quest. First stop sports direct...successful. Staff friendly and helpful. Directed me immediately to product. Excellent price as well

Good for cheap badminton racquets

Smaller than most shops in this chain and more limited stock selection. Cheap products but not in any sense a enjoyable shopping experience.

Have had some good deals here including super Dunlop tennis racket reduced for £99 to £30. Be aware that credit notes are offered for returned goods rather than refunds. Reasonable variety of stock and good to have this store in the high street.
