Sports Direct

We called into the store during a trip to London, needing a couple of cycling shirts fit a present. On entering we asked where to find them and a very pleasant young man gave us precise directions to the correct area in the basement. We chose the shirts and spotted ladies hoodies. As my wife had been cold whilst traveling she tried some on. Then a very loud lady customer appeared, immediately calling out for assistance. When an assistant appeared the customer berated her for some time, loudly enough for all around to hear, how there were never staff around to assist her. This carried on for some time and was obviously done by the customer to embarrass the young female assistant. The the young man who had previously given us directions arrived. We the realised he seemed to be the manager. He very professionally and as quietly as possible, dealt with the situation and returned upstairs. We chose a hoodie which seemed the best fit and went up to pay. We asked the same young man whether they another hoodie in the same size.
He noticed we had chosen a large size and very astutely suggested the men's hoodies would be a better fit for my wife. In all, we cannot commend this young man enough. In fact, as we left, another customer was thanking him for his help.

The worst costumer experience in my life. I don't wanna go back again.

Very rude customer service. Changing rooms are too small and the floors are not labelled for what they have (ie basement women, swimming and golf)

It's okay to have one in the area, but I only go if I'm too late to find something online.

Appalling customer service. The staff is so unhelpful and unwilling that you just want to step out of the shop as soon as you interact with any of them. Prices are ok. Fitting rooms are too small.

Staff could be more pleasant.

I mainly used it to collect website delivery. Staff does not look very competent at the till or with the collections procedures.

Disgusting customer service... at Till point was pointed to to go to the other till....then when I asked whether I was going to get served he said he was serving someone else...no apologies... then started speaking in another langauge to one of his colleagues. .. the got served.. no please no thank you dreadful, rude customer service.

Applies to all Sports Direct stores - make sure you really want what you are buying as you won't get your money back if you change your mind! A bit shocking in our times...

Not the most pleasant shopping experience in the world, yet to find anything anywhere near a deal.

Just look at the state of it... Service Wass OK but not always consistent... One day you get a good staff and another Mike Ashley has been at it and everyone is stressed and too busy to serve.

Completely misleading sales promotion, only selling cheap clothing using branding that in the past was of good quality until they brought the brand labels. Avoid
