Sports Direct London Wood Green

Worst Sports Direct I have ever visited; they treat you as criminals as they ask you to show your receipt as you're leaving the store or they scan your bags. I have visited a range of Sports Direct around the UK and has never been treated in this appalling manner! What's the point of treating customers/ consumers in this degrading way when you have CCTV. The Manager also had an attitude problem when querying this issue. In addition, I observed one of the Sale Assistant speak to a customer in a rude way. I would not recommende this branch to anyone.

I had a particular sale assistant that was completely rude. I asked if he had this shoe (showing the one in my hand) in size 5.5. He responded that the shoe in my hand looked like a 5.5. I explained to him it wasn't. He pushed to say it was a 5.5 despite not looking at the shoe to even check the size then he walked away. If he did look though, he would have seen that it was in fact a size 3! This experience completely put me off shopping and I left the store.

I get working in retail, I've done it in many shops so I understand it isn't all rosey. But being unjustly rude to people makes you an A hole! I'm never going back..

As you can see the ratings for this score is very low. Many reasons but mainly, like almost every customer who scores low on this store OR complains about this store is because of the lack of respect, disgusting customer service and the working conditions. I am very furious as of my family is too, due to the unprofessional work of one of the managers 'SAINT JOHN'. I have a friend currently working there & family who previously worked there but resigned very shortly after. I won't say too much on here but tomorrow I myself will contact sports directs head office & I recommend you all turn your backs on this store unless you happy with bad customer service with bad managers running a store.

Never write reviews but I feel the need to warn customers on my experience in this store......Went in to buy a pair of football boots and the woman that served was horrible and rude from the start, rushed me from the start and ended up bringing me out the wrong pair of boots from her attitude, told me she could not bring out more than one pair of boots at a time, after making my decision to purchase some boots she them directed me to checkout.....this was another disaster......one woman behind the checkout desk helping a family and her two colleagues were chatting doing nothing talking about their weekend while there were 10 customers waiting to be served.

They eventually started to serve customers and when I was called it was the same attitude as the woman who served me when looking for my boots. For a paying customer I feel as thought this store was a disgrace on how they handled everything, I have been to sports direct stores all over London in the past and never had a problem....I will not be returning to this store and looking at the other reviews it looks like other customers had negative experiences also.....

Customer Service should be reassessed in this store, the STAFF that served me were horrible!!!!!

Just got my AB-carver and it's on sale just £14.00 very pleased with the item and service. But as I was exiting store I was asked by security to open my bag....? I just bought my product and don't appreciate been stopped with out provacation. Will not shop here again as my experience was 10 but just fell to 0 after that experience, sorry sport direct you need to fix up and stop stopping people because of the colour of there skin, as person behind me exiting store was not asked to open there bag was this because of there colour?

The people working in this sports direct are suprisingly helpful despite the obviously poor working conditions and bad mangement. Ive just seen a female staff leaving crying after being yelled at by her manager amidst all the obvious chaos, your staff are a reflection of yourself sir so if anyone needs a reality check its most definately you.

The woman who serves the girls section is rude when customers do not buy the brand she wants or represents. For the worst attention I will never return to your store. Customer service is lacking in general for my opinion.

The price/quality ratio is probably the best you can find, quality stuff for a very reasonable price and with lots of discounts. Contrary to most of the reviews here, I found the cashier girl was very kind to me.
However, the security guy is indeed too invasive, checking out the bags of people leaving the store and quite frankly he is intimidating.

a place for people that dont wanna spend alot of money, everythings cheap as well as the staff and security staff, they try to watch everyone but sometimes go too far as to follow some people.

Security guard eyeballing and following customers at whim. Some staff won't be bothered with helping you and seem content in focusing on folding garments. They just generally deal with you as if you're a ghost. Not the case with born and bred folk.

I was yesterday at your shop in wood green...I left the shop very angry and sad.I asked one of your employers to bring me the 5 size for one of the pair of shoes.He went inside to bring it after 5 minutes ,he came back after another 5 minutes with shoes for another customer and he asked me again what i want .I told him again and he was waiting again for another customer to decide ..so another 5 minutes.I said it's ok ...Then he went back inside..i waited again 10 minutes .His colleagues were moving ten times faster than him so because of this i waited half an hour for nothing while one woman waited for no more than 5 minutes and got from another guy the pair of shoes i was waiting for!!!! And it was the last one !! This guy camed back finnaly with size 3 !! And he told me that they don't have size 5 !! I just want to say that size 5 that i asked for was half an hour ago right under my eyes!! Thank you very much!! I feel sorry that i didn't asked to speak with the manager just for this slow and uninterested guy that is working for this shop!!!

I know Sports Direct get a very bad rap, and perhaps they should for paying and employing so poorly, but they do have a fantastic range of sporting goods at amazing prices. I think the staff's attitude and behaviour reflects that of the general public they serve, so let's not be too hard on them. It's the only place to go for trainers and walking boots and frankly, Clarkes et al, you need to get real with your pricing. Got a lovely pair of Karimor walking shoes for my son for £22.99 which is less than half the price we paid for his school shoes.
