Sports Direct Roundhay Road

Perhaps I picked a bad time to pop in, but I can only base my review on what I experienced. Shockingly poorly managed store; the woman who eventually got around to serving me was surly and bad tempered. To be fair, I think I would have been too in her position, as she was unable to deal with the large number of customers and was also trying to deal with a lunatic woman who was trying to grab the ladder and fetch the trainers she was after instead of waiting her turn. There should have been at least 2 more members of staff serving in the running shoe area, and given the handful of bored looking employees hanging around at the front of the store, there could have been. There also should have been more people on the tills. When I saw the length of the queue I had to abandon my purchase as I had already spent 15 minutes more than intended and was running late for a meeting. Not an experience I intend to repeat - maybe the online shop is a better bet.

Customer service is a joke, had to hunt for an assistant every time I needed a size. One person on checkouts, and about 6 people in the questions 😤😠😤

Staff very friendly to help out. Enjoyed my visit.

This store has some of the worst customer services I have ever witnessed, they're uninterested in person and never answer the phone to help with any problems. They admittedly mis-sold and mis-printed wording on a football shirt resulting in a lack of any effort to correct, replace or refund me.

I was told by a friend that the store sold equestrian products.on arrival i could not visibly see a section dedicated to equestrians
So i found an assistant and all she could do was point in fague fashion telling me they are over there somewhere.ok. i have another look no joy so i ask someone else and the same senario happened i was told they are over there totally the opposite way from where i was originally.eventually the 3rd assistant i found was a little more helpful but informed me the selection was very limited and not allways available.all of your assistants came across miserable unknowledgable and like they just didnt want to be there.shame looks like a nice store but sadly i wont be back

Not willing to help at all ... staff snatch the training shoe out off my hand and just walked off ... will not be going back ... these Miss out on two Nike air sales take my cash somewhere else

Agreed there aren't many staff & customer service is lacking a bit....but it's sports direct, that's what you expect.....they do good quality gear for cheap prices, if you want good customer service go to John Lewis and pay at least double.

Arrived at front of store 5 minutes before closing time on Saturday 19th August, and a young blonde shop assistant told me store was closed despite of the fact some customers were still around the shop. I complained showing my watch and phone time, and she still refused me access (she was very rude)....well done....this is the first time ever I have been told no to enter a shop before closing time.

How can a business with a large chain, never answer the phone??? So frustrating
