What is postureŌØōŌØö
Posture is the position in which you hold your body while sitting, standing, walking or lying. During dynamic and stationary movements, good posture is needed in order to effectively support your muscles, joints and ligaments. If you maintain poor posture for any length of time, it causes stress, pain and damage to your body.
Fortunately, improving your posture and strengthening your muscles can help reduce the burden of postural issues. Because your body ha...s become so used to sitting, standing and moving in a certain way, correcting your posture may feel uncomfortable and awkward at first. However, with a bit of practice, good posture will become second nature and be one step towards helping your body in the long term.
Simple changes in posture can be beneficial and be incorporated into everyday activities. Changes are best done gradually and practiced little and often.
What causes bad postureŌØōŌØö
REMEMBER - poor posture isnŌĆÖt always a sign of lazinessŌØŚ’ĖÅŌØĢ
