What a improvement since the refurbishment , looks bigger and lighter, new Sunday Cauvery very good lots to choose from

We had our Golden Wedding Anniversary celebration there. They put on a first class buffet and we were made to feel special. There was top quality entertainment at no extra cost

To ourselves. Our guests all enjoyed the evening. Bill and his staff were great, making sure our evening was special. I have no hesitation in recommending the Sportsmans for your celebrations.

Food was good, steak was cooked just as we requested. Staff were very pleasant. We will definately go back.

Been for a few meals here lately and cannot fault it! Friendly staff and fantastic meals! Would definitely recommend.

5� for my favourite pub in the whole world Love you all and my favourite landlord����

We booked a one night stay as we were seeing a show at the nearby Watermark. Although the accommodation and furnishings were a bit dated and tired, everything was spotlessly clean and tidy. Just think 'retro" instead of old fashioned, and everything's fine! We had an evening meal that could not be faulted, and an amazing cooked breakfast that was very well presented. All the staff were lovely. I would much rather stay in a "retro" place with lovely helpful staff, rather than a clinical chain hotel with snooty staff! Would definitely stay again if we were in the area.
