Roof damage is not something I do very often but when I do it's something worth doing a good job on. This dent had a rusty scab in the centre and had the metal stretched. The dent was pulled back out from the outside using the dent puller and then using a glaze the metal was smoothed before primer. Once painted and polished i think the roof came out rather nice. This is the actual repair on the Kia Venga that had the bad repaired bumper in the previous post. A badly dented quarter panel that also went into the door. The dent was pulled out using a dent pulling system and then smoothed over with very little filler, or in this case a product known as a glaze. Once finished you would never know the damage was ever there. Even the bumper corner was corrected to improve the overall repair.

I presently have a Kia Venga in for repair to the rear quarter panel and door. During the preparation of the vehicle for repair I came across this mess on the rear bumper. This just goes to show what some other repairers do to vehicles. This is soddy, unacceptable work and is really not good enough. Not only do I have to do the repair the vehicle is booking in for I also now have to put this right.
If your going to get bodywork done go to a reputable good body shop with a good reputation. Check them out and ask for reviews etc. Stop this kind of poor quality work as it makes future work more expensive and harder to do. As a result we have to charge for correcting other people's poor work.

This week I had a Mercedes in with rear end damage. On the surface the damage did not look too bad. A dent in the tailgate, some cracks in the rear bumper to repair and scuff marks. However checking behind the bumper it was noticed that the rear crash bar was damaged. Once the bumper was removed it was clear to see that the crash bar was creased and needed replacing. Many repairers would not even check this and just repair what they see. Otherwise known as cosmetic. The safe...ty of this vehicle was compromised with the crash bar being left unchanged and therefore it needed replacing. Also you could see where the tailgate had been painted before around the number plate. I did think was just dirt but when preparing the vehicle it became clear this was not dirt but from a previous repair. The dent in the tailgate was pulled out, primed and painted and now looks like new. A new crash bar was fitted. Rear bumper repaired and refitted.

This Seat Ibiza came in with some marks on the rear bumper which was also indented on the right hand side where it was scraped. Also some small scuff marks on the front bumper bumper to be repaired. After removal and strip down on the rear bumper all the damage was sanded out and repaired ready for painting. Once painted the bumper looks like new with a shine that's not just good but is like a mirror. The front bumper was done on the car as this was just a minor repair. But the results are just as good.

A 2016 Mazda MX-5 with some scuff marks on the front bumper. There was also a few other marks that was worth doing so the full bumper was prepared for a full repaint.
For this type of job the bumper has to be removed to be done properly.
Once refitted all looks like new. So much better than messing about trying to just hide the chips and scuffs by doing a cheap repair. Having the job done professionally and correctly is always the best option.

Scraped front door on a Renault Scenic repaired and resprayed. Now you would never know the damage was ever there.

A Vauxhall Viva with a dented quarter panel expertly repaired using specialised dent pulling equipment. Once the main shape is obtained using the dent puller very little filler is used to finish off the repair. In many cases no filler is needed at all and the area can just be primed preserving OEM panel.
Once this job was painted you would never know the dent was ever there.

Something a little different to work on.

A Fiat 500 with some rear bumper damage. The rear bumper was cracked and the plastic fractured around the tow eye cover. The rear fog lamp had been pushed in and the fittings needed repairing on the rear so that the lamp could be refitted. New chrome strip was fitted to finish off.
The crack was repaired by using specialised plastic welding equipment to prevent the crack reopening. Then the bumper sanded to regain the correct shape. No filler used in this process so is lik...e using a new bumper. This is not always possible but in this it was applicable to repair with this method.
The result is a like new bumper repair.
I see so many cracked bumpers repaired incorrectly that just crack open again or just filled over. If it's going to be repaired get it done properly. Just don't hide the cracks they will come back.

Had a few repairs on this BMW to do over the last 2 days. Took rear bumper off to repaint and had to repair a dent to the front near side wing. Also there was a a bad dent to the rear driver's side arch into the rear door. There was also some minor scratches to the rear boot tailgate area.
Once it was all repaired the car is back to looking like new.

The door on this Vauxhall Crossland had been damaged due to bird droppings etching into the paint. The customer was so happy once it was all repaired.
