🎉 Happy 4th birthday Spraytech! On this day 4 years ago we opened our doors! We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers past and present for their support.

Due to continued expansion, we are now looking for a skilled panel beater/ paint sprayer to join our small friendly team at our Woking bodyshop. The successful applicant must be trustworthy, able to work as part of a team and on their own initiative. You will be working on all types of cars and light commercials. Hours will be 8am until 5pm Monday- Friday with overtime available. This is a permanent position with good rates of pay based on experience for the right candidate. It's surprising how much damage a fox can do. This customer thought they had only damaged their front bumper after unfortunately hitting a fox. Not only did this Polo require a new bumper, but a new grille, front panel, both wing under shields, engine undertray, even windscreen washer bottle had broken. Just goes to show, you do not have to hit a large heavy object to do substantial damage.

Well with all the festivities now over its all back to normal in the workshop. It's been a busy week, the three jobs here whilst very different repairs, all the damage was sustained in supermarket car parks without the owners knowing. 😡

We had a customer come in who unfortunately had his van broken in to. Not only did they steal his bike out of the back of his van, but also made quite a mess out of the door. The door required repairing and the lock and handle replacing and as an extra security measure we fitted an armoured lock and handle plate.

This is a couple of jobs we have worked on this week, one shows the danger of meeting a low post and the Mini shows what happens if a cyclist decides to head butt your car. Fortunately the car came off worse.

With all of todays headlights being made of polycarbonate plastic, headlight lenses start to deteriorate within 2 - 3 years due to such things as UV rays, exhaust pollution, debris and chemicals used in cleaning products. This not only makes the lense appear foggy and cloudy but also impacts on the effectiveness of the headlight beam compromising your safety.
A which survey conducted in March 2013 looking at the reasons for MOT failures found that 18.6% of all failures were a...s a direct result headlights.
