1959 Rare Velocette Venom motorbike tank we have just restored and painted, an insane amount of hours, for something so small to achieve the final result. The journey of this tank, included shot blasting, welding the tank where the old metal was corroded and thin, 3 coats of Epoxy primer on the bare metal, followed by 5 coats of high build HS primer, then the tank had hours of blocking to smooth the imperfections, then reprimed, with 3 coats of sealer, Then sanded again. Fol...lowed by the application of the gold stripe colour, and let to rest overnight. We then striped the tank, then applied the jet black base, and removed the masking stripe and applied the clearcoat👌
