Springfield Country Hotel Leisure Club & Spa

Have been staying here very regularly for two years. The hotel has undergone a significant amount of refurbishment in the last 6 months and has really benefitted from this. Service is always great, team are always helpful a five star hotel it is not however my room is always spotless, left items are always stored for my next trip - it is quirky however most of all as a lone female traveller i always feel safe and well looked after - thank you - was there last week certainly did not see a swamp in place of the outdoor pool - had a few leaves that was all

Shocking value for money. Customer service was very poor and the whole facility needs major investment. We were asked for payment on arrival, then presented with another bill when we left, I reminded the receptionist that we had already paid and we were asked to produce a receipt!!! This also happened to another couple in our party. The one positive is the grounds around the building are nice but marred by an outdoor pool filled with swamp water. Rooms were heated to 25 degrees even with the windows open and radiator off. Look elsewhere.

Beautiful setting and really friendly staff. Facilities are good, jacuzzi could do with a scrub though and some decor is a bit outdated but the room was spacious with a great view.

Nice place to stay, great room, friendly staff, spa facilities are ok and the massages are great! Some decor a little dated but beautiful grounds and setting with a great dinner menu - highly recommend the fillet steak for an extra few pounds!

Rude staff, could not cater for food allergies. Spa was very dirty, lights in sauna did not work. Decor dated. Look elsewhere

Nice location and grounds.
I had a room with a balconey,the rooms are clean and tidy but you only get freeview tv. Basic tea & coffee in rooms.
I think the price is too high for what it offers but I did not use spa facilities.
The restaurant/dinner was nothing special and breakfast was meh! I felt it had spent too much time under a heat lamp (crunchy mushrooms.)
The staff are friendly and helpfull but there is nothing there that I would want to restay. Overall I wish I'd stayed somewhere else. One other thing you cannot have is breakfast served to your room untill 8 am! I wanted breakfast in my room but as checking out at 7.30am but had to go to the restaurant.
As I said for the price I paid I could of done much better elsewhere.

Nice clean hotel, they have spent a lot of time doing it up recently, The food is maybe not so great.

Well... The hotel is ok, but the pool did not working in this Easter and the services is terrible.

They don't have any idea about what mean services.... Especially in the restaurant... They want to move to another table when they have a lot of table free, just because we senting in table for 4 and we was 2, but they have more that 5 tables for 6 free and they closed the breasfast at 9:30.. Amazing!!!!!

Lovely place lovely staff very beautiful grounds had a great time there and defo will be back also food great service great showers very powerful
