Springfield Guest House

It was an okay place to stay, the hosts were extremely friendly, the check in was easy and the included breakfast was spot on. However, at over 6' I struggled with the small bathroom and although the family bedroom we had booked was of a good size for the four of us, it was positioned on the ground floor by the front door, so a reasonable amount of noise with the foot traffic and breakfast preparations, not great if you have any light sleepers.

2 night stay at this b&b. Clean and very comfortable bedroom and bathroom with bath and shower. Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff.

Lovely place, great breakfast, characterful rooms. Would come back any day.

Pros: Good location; comfortable rooms; friendly owners; great breakfast. Cons: noisy saniflow system; no blackout/thick curtains (rooms get bright in the early summer mornings).
