Regatta is currently raising awareness to the dangers of insect bites not only abroad but also in the UK. The Health Protection Agency suggests that there could be up to 3000 new cases of Lyme Disease occurring in the UK alone every year, and it can be difficult to diagnose as the symptoms can easily be confused with other conditions. Lyme Disease has been in the spotlight recently with stories of adults and children becoming extremely ill and even paralysed after experienci...ng tick bites in the UK. The best and most effective way to prevent Lyme disease is to wear appropriate protective clothing. Craghoppers NosiLife clothing is the world’s first and only permanent insect-protective clothing, offering protection from critters such as mosquitoes, midges and ticks which can carry diseases and deadly viruses such as Malaria, the Zika Virus and Lyme Disease. Regatta is stocking Craghoppers NosiLife clothing and is offering customers the chance to win a full kit of NosiLife protective clothing, if you can face your fears and enter the Crunchy Critter Challenge. Come down to Regatta on Saturday 21st July to take part! Whoever eats the most critters in 10 seconds will win a full Nosi life kit including the famous NosiLife adventure shirt, zip off trousers, hoody and hat.

Wow. We had an absolutely AMAZING day yesterday. Opening weekend of Adventure land was fabulous. My 5 and 2 year old were in their element. Free face painting, glitter art, bands, magicians, stilt walkers, dancers. So much to look at and do and that was even before we purchased all inclusive tickets ( at a very reasonably priced £7:95) for the fun of Adventure land. The biggest hit for my 2 year old was the JCB area and the gold mining and our 5 year old loved the high ropes and the water play area. We didn’t even have time to do the mini golf as they were into everything else so much. The old favourites of feeding the ducks and the huge scary mouthed fish was also fun. We ate at Springys and although they had a few teething problems for their first weekend the food was worth the wait and delicious and the manager was a true gentleman and so attentive. We can’t wait to come back. There were tears when we left! We planned on going for a couple of hours and stayed all day from 11 til 4! Well done Springfields. We love it from The Tanner Family xxx

Would like to say a Huge Thank you to the Manager who very kindly allowed myself my Canine Partner assistance dog & Carer to go into the woods to enjoy the beautiful display of Christmas lights.

Being wheelchair bound & unable to have a train ride through she kindly unlocked to gate to the woods which have had to be closed of at present due to vandals causing thousands of pounds worth of damage to the displays spoiling it for everyone.

I found this such a lovely thoughtful gesture of her to do this.

How wonderful to look after disabled people in this way couldn't ask for more Thank u once again Sam & Bugsy

Went to Santa's grotto today and the staff and the experience was fantastic. This was made a magical experience as the facilities were suitable for family members with photo sensitive epilepsy, which we have struggled to find facilities without flash photography in the past. Thank you for making it a truly memorable day for the whole family.

Been here a few times now over the past couple of years. Last went November last year. 5* for Springfields itself and the variety of different shops it provides and the coffee shops like Starbucks dotted around.

However, did not enjoy a meal at The Kitchen on the front of the outlet where a chicken dinner was very expensive and absolutely rubbish with hard veg and dry chicken! This was sorted without having to pay for a thing so good service there.

Went to Frankie and Bennies instead and had a very tasty lunch which was much better value for money!

My 5* is for Springfields itself.

User

Always a great shopping experience but extra thanks to the wonderful staff at Pro-Cook who went out of their way to fulfil my order.

User

We went to adventure land today and my boys really enjoyed it.i especially loved the tree top village and could have quite Happily spent all day on it.the young girl with the ginger hair was fantastic,as was the young girl with the blonde hair running the gold mine area (sorry ladies I didn't catch your names)

In fact all the staff we encountered from the JCB area to Dino golf was cheerful and polite and friendly.

The JCB area looked great tho it stated for up too ages 10 tho I disagree as my 9 year old wasn't keen and the area itself was more suited to younger children.

The train ride was good tho could have been a bit longer.

We went into the diner and was very impressed with the general feel of it,was very clean and the staff in there were fab,Sam on the till was very friendly and helpful and Kayleigh the waitress was superb nothing was too much trouble for her, great customer service and very polite friendly and chatty I cannot praise her enough.

In fact all the waitresses in there were great all happy and smiling

My only negative is that £2.50 for 1 can of coke is ridiculous tho that isn't the staff's fault.

Really enjoyed our visit and Will definitely be back

User

We always enjoy our outings to Springfields. Always lots of choice, and a good assortment of shops. Well worth a visit if you have not been before. Lots of food outlets too.

User

The outlet center itself is very clean and lovely but there is no clear information about. Do people know to apply for a VIP card to gain extra discounts before they arrive. They had paw patrol about when we visited but not one person knew the time the characters where out or where they would be. Which meant upset children. The stores seemed OK but I was very dissapointed in how the next outlet was stuff just shoved everywhere on shelves racks so badly organised. Nice place train ride is £2 car park for over two hours is £2 as I couldn't find that information anywhere online.

User

Neal Cozens would like through the power of FB to thank the very kind lady who took the time to hand his phone into the Information Centre at Sprinfields Shopping Centre in Spalding this afternoon. It's nice to know that we do have honest people around us. Sorry no details was given but a very huge thank you to this person and her honesty. I hope this message will get through to her. Please share especially around the Spalding area. Thank you.

User

Love it here, lots of choice, reasonably priced shops especially when there are sales on. Lovely walk and an average pub for food (not the cheapest and toilets not great). Parking is good value too. The only thing that's overpriced I'd say is the garden centre so we don't shop in there as it's double the price compared with other garden centres. Lovely to look around though. More parent and child parking spaces need, not many at all and obviously there are people who use them without children!. Makes it difficult to get a pram and baby out without bumping into the next car!

User

Children had a great time at the new adventure land yesterday, 1 managed to spend an hour panning for gold!!!

Very relaxing atmosphere for both adults and kids,

My only criticism would be I don’t think it’s necessary to charge adults an entry free, unless we could redeem the fee against spending it the restaurant,

Apart from that great day, and very friendly staff x

User

new adventure land is pretty poor in truth if your expecting to see diggers in a jcb land you'll be very disappointed many were very under-whelmed at the fact its simply peddle plastic diggers on a bit of tarmac kids are given adult size hi-vis and hard hat the literally fell off if that genuinely cost 1 million my god someone has had someone pants down was suppose to attract people from further afield to the shopping center which is also pretty rubbish lucky if a store stays 6 months before someone new in to try to sell out of fashion clothing or novelty mugs at silly prices .... :-/ such a shame really

User

We Come here lots but came today in half term to find the train, play area and mini golf closed although all signs say open daily during half term

Two very sad boys it’s the only reason we drove from Ely today !

I’m not sure Christmas lights are a priority in October before Halloween ?!?

This is a review of the Noshery Co restaurant located in the Garden Centre only.

The rest of the Springfield's experience was lovely.

If there was an opportunity to give zero stars for the Noshery Co. I would.

Staff were miserable, unfriendly and stony faced, this was apparent in the service we received. Confusion over drinks ordered, no apology, just drinks slammed down onto the counter.

The food is extortionately priced - 6.45 for a baguette?! Chips an extra 2.75?!

The quality of the food did not in any way reflect the price.

Advertising quiche for sale, only to get to the till and be told there is none, so have to choose another option.

Charged twice for the same panini - although this was refunded.

Food arrives at the table incomplete- no salad or coleslaw as ordered.

Sausage roll clearly uncooked and looked hazardous. Sent back, told replacement would come to the table in 5 minutes. 15 minutes later, still hadn't arrived. Had to go and ask for it, still looked dodgy.

Staff didn't want to know when told that the service had been poor- only a "I'm sorry about that"; no level of professionalism or customer service. Told that it was this way as it was "so busy today". No response when we said that this wasn't our fault.

Table wobbly and lots of crumbs/ food debris on both the floor and the chairs. Had to clean this ourselves. Didn't want to sit in rice!

Visited toilet - within Garden Centre - afterwards.

Urine all over the floor, broken toilets, hardly any toilet roll and "flush" buttons with no cover, just the metal mechanism open and jutting out of the wall. People coming out of the toilets, coughing and spluttering saying how "disgusting" it was.

One lady even told us that she had to "roll her trousers up" when she was in the cubicle to prevent urine from touching her trousers.

Member of staff from the Garden Centre in the toilets at the same time looking embarrassed but doing nothing to resolve this.

Informed staff behind till when we left, was told that there had already been a complaint made and someone was dealing with it.

Absolutely appalling service and disgusting levels of hygiene and cleanliness. A real shame to what is a decent day out.

Avoid Noshery Co. without a doubt!

User

Myself and a friend came today as we are staying at the Travelodge next door and fancied a coffee before checking in.

We were accosted by an employee who was on bin duty who told us we had to get out. We were outside Costa. When we refused, he called his supervisor who told us the same.

Our crime? Wheeling bicycles through. We’ve ridden over 60 miles to get here carrying our kit and you expect us to lock up a couple of grands worth of bikes with our gear well out of sight?

An excellent advert for your shopping mall.

User

First time going here, didn’t even get in the gate. No dogs allowed, what a load of shit. If it’s not good enough for my dog it’s not good enough for my money.

User

Been trying to call to book tickets for the adventure land (like it says to do so!) For 3 days, left several messages but no one has ever answered or called back! Shocking customer service!!

User

Be aware if visiting Santa's grotto with disabled children. I couldn't tell you what the grotto was like inside, as they don't allow wheelchairs in there. Santa comes to back door to hand over gift didn't even speak to my son to ask what he wanted etc very upsetting visit again for my teenage daughter to witness (she was so upset in her eyes disability discrimination)
