These genuine issue ammo boxes are in used condition as they are army surplus .
The yellow line that you can see is part of the military decommissioning process.

As with full size crossbows you also need to have a bag to carry your pistol crossbow if going from one public place to another.
Anglo Arms have produced a good quality bag to hold their 80lb pistol crossbows such as the Mantis, Cyclone, Rapture or Scorpion. The bag will also hold the smaller 50lb pistol crossbows.
The bag is 56cm x 48cm x 13cm is well padded and comes with an extra compartment on the front which will hold up to 6 bolts.

If you have a garden that is safe enough to use them, why not try the Anglo Arms Mantis Pistol Crossbow?
These superb pistol crossbows have an 80lb Draw weight and as you can see are very accurate once you have had a bit of practice. (see comments for a close up photo of the two fired in the video)
The Mantis is fairly easy to put together from the box although you may need a bit of help getting the string over the ends of the limb.
... Cocking the pistol crossbow is extremely easy, just grab the front handle, release the safety at the back and pull the handle at the back down until the string sits in the firing position. Put the handle back up and place a bolt into the chamber making sure the pistol crossbow is pointing away from people at all times.
Fire at your target (the one in the video is the EK Archery foam boss) and repeat till you've used all your bolts. You get three bolts with the pack but you can buy more.
