Lovely people with lovely food right in the middle of a great place for outdoor activities, cannock chase
While prices may be slightly on the higher end the food really is worth it

Lovely little cafe in the middle of Cannock Chase. The food is excellent and the staff are very friendly. Well worth a visit.

This is my favourite cafe in the area. Not only is it set in the middle of the beautiful Cannock Chase but the food is fantastic and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

You can either sit and eat outside in the garden where you can take your dog and park your bike, or you can sit inside in the tea room which is bright and cheerful in the summer and cosy in the winter, warmed by a log fire.

I honestly can't reccommend this place enough. Everyone should try it.

Lovely setting, friendly staff and good food, what more do you need after a walk on Cannock Chase.

Had a 5 year olds party on 14/5/17, and the kids had a great time. Kaye and her team were brilliant with the kids and had complete control of them without being harsh.
You can tell they enjoy what they do and its not just a money maker for them.
Very well organised and I would recommend anyone to have a party there. Plus the weather was perfect.

Great atmosphere, great food, great staff.

In reference to Michelle follows recent review, I stayed on this campsite concerned with my son and his friend at the same time you were there, and I also witnessed your chihuahua's lead wrapped your caravans feet unable to get into its kennel, also lack of water and a bowl of food infested by flies.
As for the German Shepherd that apparently was trying to eat your chihuahua, that is just a load of rubbish, the German Shepherd had got loose and was just frightened, the cafe owner did however take you chihuahua back with her so as not to be frightened by the German Shepherd.
My son and friend both had a great time and also made friends with all the other kids on site. The toilets and shower were also spotlessly clean, and the site has the added benefit of great home cooked food served with a smile. Will definately be staying at this site again.

Camped here a few times, never had a bad experience. Friendly site with a great cafe facility for when you don't fancy washing the pots! The location is a real draw, in the heart of the beautiful Cannock Chase forest. Great for access to "Follow The Dog" and "The Monkey Trail" if you love your MTB riding. The site itself is on the smaller side, but the very large pitches mean you always get plenty of room. The Electric hook ups, decent showers and access to infinite amounts of cake make this place a fun place to camp.
