Cafe open all day sat and sun. Breakfasts as usual and burgers / hot pulled pork rolls on the menu for the afternoon as well as other filled rolls. Happy fishing 🎣

Cafe update. From the 1st March the Cafe will be open daily from 8-11am to serve breakfast and 1-5pm to serve hot/cold snacks and drinks. New menu to be posted soon and to include burgers, chips, jacket potatoes and filled rolls! 👍

just been to springwood fisheries over the bank holiday weekend, what a beautiful place very clean and the boys loved the fishing while us girls chilled, the owners jen and iain r such a lovely friendly couple and there son jenson is adorable, we have booked again for august bank holiday but if we can we will b back before that. thank you for the lovely breakfast aswell, cant fault anything, c u soon and thanks again for a great weekend.

What a lovely find. 3 novices and 1 occasional fishing enthusiast. We turned up slightly apprehensive but excited.springwood could not have been more welcoming. They showed us the ropes and off we went. The owner even came over and explained how to setup different ly, this worked great. This place is a real gem. Competition s on at the same time so was great to see.

This is a amazing place to relax and recharge your batteries and do abit of fishing the fish are well looked after n cared for .the pods are lovely will definitely be going back. Thank you x

This has been my home water since I returned to fishing, facilities are excellent, cafe, toilets. The grounds have matured over the years and the site has benefited from being upgraded to attract the camping and caravans, without loosing sight that this is firstly a commercial fishery. I am ourely a fishing for pleadure angler and the fishing is always positive, and you will be rewarded for your skill. Yesterday was tough water is still very cold, but bites worked hard for did come. Still a really relaxing and chilling day.

Stayed here for four nights when going to Download Festival. It's such a beautiful place and everyone is lovely and helpful. Hopefully we'll be back next year.

Loved it, my nephew & niece loved it. Very friendly people in beautiful surroundings. The bailiff and Ian gave my nephew great tips and in no time he was catching some decent carp. He was very disappointed to be leaving but we will be back. We stayed in one of the deluxe pods, very clean and right on the lake.

Just had a 4 night stay at Springwood Fisheries with a great group of people on the skinny dogs rally.

The owners are really friendly and helpful. The site is very picturesque. Will definitely be back, hopefully not too long.

A lot of our group fished with great success.

The only downside is that I never got chance to sample one of the breakfasts on offer at the site café.

Just got back into fishing after all these years and chose Springood Fisheries from a recommendation. When I arrived I spoke to Ian who gave me a suitable peg to fish from. Once settled Ian showed me how to set up for float fishing on a pole as I never done it before. Ian left me to it and his dad Brian was asking how I was getting on. I had a great day of fishing and by the end of the day I was so happy with I caught and achieved taking out 20 fish including a 3lb and a 4lb fish. Without advice and support from Ian and Brian would have struggled. Thank you for the breakfast cob which was beautiful as well as the cups of which are a good price. I would highly recommend it is quiet and peaceful. I go every weekend.

I just wanted to let everyone know about my first visit to this fantastic fishery today!

We fished a club match and despite the cold rain yesterday, we still caught plenty of fish!

For anyone who fancies a change from the norm of catching just carp or F1's, I caught a few carp plus 30lb of Ide today on their Bottom pool - probably around fifty fish!

In addition to the fishing, i can honestly say that i haven't seen many better looking fisheries out there, very well looked after.

The people who run the place are very nice too, and the breakfasts are spot on!

Absolutely beautiful place, we stayed in deluxe pod, you can't beat waking up in such a beautiful place and fishing all day! Jen and Ian are Fantastic and friendly owners, and everyone needs to meet Brian who is great at giving how to fish lessons and looking after you!

A lovely escape 10mins down the road and you could be anywhere ��
