"We enjoyed the peanut crunch and the smooth textured ice cream and think they provide a good contrast. Unusual and innovative. You just don't expect raspberries and peanuts to go together but here they do". Great Taste Award Judges, 2017.

We love this place. We've tried other places in Reading (Creams, Treatz) and the quality and service just don't compare. These guys will go out of their way to give you what you fancy. Be it, changing a flavour or adding/removing stuff! 100% won't go anywhere else now!
We had our little one's first birthday party at Sprinkles over the weekend and it was wonderful. The staff was super attentive and everyone loved their ice cream. Had already visited a few times but will definitely visit much more now. Thank you to the staff!
I really liked coming here to try your desserts, as I am from down the West Midlands and wanted to see what the desserts were like down here compared to my area, and it was absolutely amazing by far the best dessert shop I've been too! Staff was friendly and didn't take ages to do the dessert and bring it out so it was a 5 star from me! Thankyou really enjoyed it will definitely be returning when I am next down this end.
nice selection of ice cream, staff were friendly and helpful, served quickly (although wasn't really busy). parking at the back was easy to get to. The only thing i would say is that seen as it's only been open a month and a half I would expect it to be a bit cleaner/newer looking. Some of the numbers they give out where a bit dirty and although mostly looked clean around the restaurant there were a few bits on the floor or tables that could have been cleaned better. Plus fixtures/fittings not a great fit, especially around the walls, I wouldn't have noticed that but for it being new to open.
Both times we’ve been the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was amazing! Would recommend and definitely go back myself
Went here yesterday. Very busy, not enough staff, only one person on the till so took 15minutes queuing to place order. Then the jar sundae's came at completely different times. Menus and order numbers need a good clean. Also there was a member of staff preparing food with no gloves on, she was also clearing tables at one point. Treatz is far better and value for money.
Prices are higher than the other ice cream parlours bt the desert in a jar is heavenly. Been there twice and both times the shop was short of staff. The staff that were working, we're not friendly or helpful.
Went in some days ago. Really bad impression. Nobody was in the till for taking orders. Around 5-6 of the staff were in the preparation area. Even we said 'hi' , then I waved my hand... no reaction. After 4-5 mins someone came and took our orders. We went to our table and after 10-15 mins we got our orders. Mine was absolutely wrong. I ordered a strawberry crepè and they brought a banana one. I had to wait 10 more mins. Service was bad but crepe was really nice. Please, try to offer a good service next time : greetings, being polite, try to smile ...
Visited here today with my children, very disappointed with selection of ice cream, not hot drinks available, and only able to pay by cash. Glass fronts were dirty where they hadn't been cleaned. No music playing very unwelcoming. No customer greeting or smiles.... didn't feel welcome at all.
Ice creams kids had in cones were of a small portion compared to other sprinkles shops. Restaurant wasn't clean, sticky, dirty tables, staff were dressed in uniforms but they were dirty and not smart.
Very disappointed been there once before when it opened we really enjoyed it!
Went yesterday and had shocking experience my girls didn't even finish there ice cream as they was on anther table next me, as they came over to me the member of staff had taken there glasses and started spraying the table, in shock I didn't say anything but my twins were very sad and I had to deal with that!!
After that me and my friends were all most finished again the member of staff came and started cleaning the table spraying cleaning spray near me n my children this is very unpleasant and the restaurant was not busy, I'm very unhappy about this!!! Well not recommended this place sadly as I did enjoy the milkshake!!!
The guy taking my order was very distracted by listening to 2 other employees talking and so I had to repeat myself, on more than one occassion. He never smiled and really acted like he didn't want to be there! Then after 10-15 min wait for 2 sundaes, we saw a lady come to the counter and look it up in a book and prepare. When they did get to the table the spoons were sticky at the top and no serviettes were given.
I found it over priced and not even sure if my daughter got the right sundae as it seemed to be mainly cream and chocolate sauce for £7.50.
Lastly, it was not busy and all the tables, chairs and even menus needed a good wipe down. 1st & last visit there.
Service leaves a lot to be desired. Staff were pleasant but couldn't seem to cope with 4 different items. Need to work on your order processing capabilities. 35 minutes from point of order to delivery to table and we all ate separately as they came out one by one with at least 5 minutes between each one! Also as a nut allergy sufferer there were not very many options that did not contain nuts even mint choc chip was off for me but the ice creams that were nut free were muddled in with others - cross contamination was a worry
My first visit to sprinkles tonight was very disappointing. Order a choc sundae and waited 35 minutes for it , it wasn't even that busy in there.
when it finally arrived it came in a big fancy glass but way to much cream . When I removed all the cream the big fancy glass was half empty with not a lot of ice cream in it .
A lot of the staff looked as if they had no interest in being there.
I will give it one more visit soon and hopefully it will be a better experience.
Ice Cream was good but over priced. The person servings face would have cracked if he smiled, service very slow, took 15 minutes to bring mine and the people behind me cancelled their order as could wait no more.
I visited this afternoon with my children and friends. The food was nice, but our experience was poor as we didn't feel very welcome by some of the staff (the children were noisy and restless which you would expect after a sugar feast) we were told to keep them under control (for their safety obviously) and the cleaner was spraying our table with cleaning product before we'd finished eating (the place was practically empty so it was a bit unnecessary) but he was doing his job, I believe they have had complaints in the past about dirty tables. I spoke to a lady staff member about it as I felt a little annoyed and frustrated after spending so much money and feeling rushed to vacate. As we were leaving my friend over heard the lady shout at the poor cleaner. Very unprofessional, why don't you Train your staff better not be mean to them!
I do prefer creams in town as it's more child friendly, they have disney films playing on the big TV screens. Was in sprinkles yesterday and they had women dancing with thongs on in there had some mtv base channel on, not what I want my 7 year old to be looking at. Staff do not look like there happy to be there and takes along time for your order to come
Went there today but walked out and will never go back. It was 12 noon, they opened at 10 but the place was a mess, food everywhere, cleaner was mopping a floor that hadn't even been swept. Disgusting!!!!!
We thought we'd give you another try after a terrible experience a few weeks ago! The restaurant was filthy dirty and the staff were extremely rude! I ordered my little boy 2scoops of ice cream which I couldn't feed him as it was full of thick sharp shards of ice, when I approached a member of staff about it they seemed like they couldn't care less! We will never be coming back and I will make sure I let everyone else know how terrible your restaurant is.
My 10 years old niece has plastic with her sticky situation dessert which looked like chocolate, luckily she didn't eat it. I got the guilty pleasure which consisted of few crumbs of biscuit and with a little ice cream and loads of bananas so well worth the £7.95 if you like cold bananas. My advice would be go to Creams
