Square Root

Underground music in underground places.

Square Root is a party born out of necessity, where you're guaranteed a decent venue, good sound and excellent music till the early hours.

We got together to basically put on good nights in nice venues, and try and keep it as close to free as possible. We also slowly acquired our own sound-system as we went along.

We ran a series of parties over 2014 in a small basement in Stoke Newington, that included Brian D'Souza, Neville Watson and Leah Floyeurs, again slowly building a solid local reputation for good sound and interesting guests in a small, intimate location.

For 2015 we've stripped it back, got ourselves a pitch black unit space in Hoxton, beefed up the sound a touch and lined up a years worth of acts.
