Heasley Wood are running the archery course, 11th and 12th May. If anyone is willing to run sessions down at the wood then there is the possibility that the wood can arrange covering the cost of the course. Let us know if you are interested. Thanks

At last a free weekend in the lodge to do some work in the second dorm. The walls and beds have been painted and new carpet tiles have been fitted. Well done to the crew for all their hard work.

Massive thanks must also go to Fiona Eland for her hard work on Saturday giving the kitchen a good scrub down from top to bottom.

The boys dorm has had a make over. Coloured wall painted by the ncs team over the summer and the crew have been busy over the last few weekends finishing off the painting, laying new carpet tiles. The stairs have also had a fresh coat of paint and a new carpet thanks to the donation from Dirk Gilbert. Massive thanks goes to all those who have helped to make this happen. Next will be the girls dorm once we have a few more weekends free.

After a fantastic Frosty's Frolics on Saturday I am so pleased to announce the result from your fantastic fundraising efforts during the Elf Dash.
217 young people raised a fantastic total of £1,150 for Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice.
A massive well done to you all!!

... This year’s Frosty’s Frolics will also be slightly different. For the first time ever, we will be holding a charity Elf Dash in aid of Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice. Every Beaver, Cub and Leader can take part. All we ask for is a minimum of £1 sponsorship per Beaver/Cub.
The event also covers criteria for several Beaver/Cub badges and awards. Further details will be issued going forward.
