Thoroughly enjoyed doing some more work on this fabulous Porsche Cayman. I started off by repairing and repainting a damaged bumper corner, then i did a headlamp cut & polish followed by a four stage cut and polish to bring out the full glory of the dark blue paintwork. This was then finished off by gloss detailing the plastics and rubber on the car. Back in a couple of weeks to sort out some kerbed alloys, then it should be totally sorted!! 😀😎

A few different type of jobs that we undertook in July. Some bird lime removal, alloy wheel refurbishment, Land Rover bumper colour coding and some cloudy headlight restoration. 👍

SRT - SMART REPAIR TECHNOLOGIES: A few photos from a very busy week at SRT. A lot of variety this week, started off at Sims Hilditch repairing some bodywork and wheels on a VW Golf whilst Luke from Autoflair was valeting some staff cars, had various bumper corners and even did a few Diamond Cut wheels for a local dealership (Not something that SRT usually do) Am off for the weekend, back to it on Monday #SmilingWhenWorkingHard 😀

Gorgeous day yesterday to repair & colour match all four wheels on this stunning Jaguar XF. Customer was extremely happy with the finish and the price.

SMART REPAIR TECHNOLOGIES: Couple of nasty little key scratches to sort out today at a client's home. As you can see, the scratch was rubbed back by hand & then compounded by machine, before being machine polished, finishing off by hand to really let the greens, blues & reds glisten in the deep black metallic paintwork.

Scratch removal, touch ins and a full three stage cut, mop and polish for this customers gorgeous Hyundai Santa Fe. Both myself and my customer were extremely pleased with the results 😀

Had a few jobs to do on a beautiful Jaguar. The mirror and rust areas were the original jobs that were booked in for SRT, these were then repaired, painted and finished in accordance to what myself and my customer had agreed. Upon finishing my work, I noticed a recent light scuff on the bumper corner, so out came my polishing equipment and a few minutes later the scratch had been removed. The customer was extremely happy with the results, especially as I wouldn't accept any more money for the bumper! At the end of the day it had only taken me a few minutes whilst clearing away. Suffice to say the gentleman has put me in contact with fellow Jaguar owners club members. Thank you Sir. 😁

SRT - SMART REPAIR TECHNOLOGIES: Unsightly lacquer peel on a Ford Focus. After carefully sanding back the broken lacquer, cleaning and priming the area, some fresh paint was mixed up to match the car and then sprayed on in several light coats, followed by two layers of UV resistant lacquer and then a final sand back and polish. One very happy customer. 😀

Had a couple of smoke grey Fiesta ST alloys to refurbish yesterday. This is a very typical kind of repair that takes place after 'Kerbing' happens. After sanding back the damage and adding a small drop of an alloy specific filler, the wheels were prepped, primered, a fresh batch of paint mixed and applied, before a two stage UV resistant lacquer was layered on. A twelve month guarantee was then given to the customer.

Ok, now this really was a challenge!! Audi A6 Alloy wheel that was in dire need of help! The paint and lacquer was peeling very badly to the point where you could pick it off with your finger. A combination of various grit wet and dry papers on the electric palm sander, block sanding and hand finishing. A metal specific wash primer (Yellow) Was followed by a few coats of light grey metal primer. The correct paint was then freshly mixed and then applied in various light coats. This was then coated with two layers of a UV resistant gloss lacquer for that final protective shine. I completed the job by adding a coating of Meguires tyre gel to really bring the finished job to life.

SRT - SMART REPAIR TECHNOLOGIES: Some scratch removal work on a VW Touareg. Started by hand sanding back the paint & lacquer followed by a four stage machine cut and polish using various compound grades, then finished off with a detailed hand polish. The end result really did let the paintwork glisten in the sun. 🌞

SRT - SMART REPAIR TECHNOLOGIES: A quick question for you? Would you wear sunglasses whilst driving at night? ....... Er No??? But that effectively is what is happening if your Headlights are clouded and fogged up!! As well as the obvious dangers of seeing less, your car would probably fail an MOT test. ... For just a modest price SRT can restore your headlights in around an hour. Remember ... We Come To You 👍
