Our activities at home board has been updated ready for a spooky month leading up to Halloween! Let‚Äôs all get our thinking witches hats on and create some spooky pictures! We can‚Äôt wait to see what you bring in! ūüĎĽ ūüéÉ

Here are so photos of the childrens‚Äô work that has been displayed recently. As you can see, it is all based around our medium term theme of Traditional Tales.ūüďö

‚öĹÔłŹ Don‚Äôt forget everyone, our mini kicks coach comes in every Thursday morning to do a session with the children. If you want your child to participate, please sign them up via the minikicks website and quote our nursery! ‚öĹÔłŹ

I‚Äôll huff and I‚Äôll puff and I‚Äôll blow your house down!ūüźļ three houses made with a variety of resources and a fantastic story scene for little red riding hood! Brilliant effort everyone. Keep up the good workūüĆü

The first two creations have come in this morning and they are fantastic!ūüďöūüĆüThe beanstalk is from one of our lovely toddlers and rapunzel is from one of our lovely preschoolers. ūüĎćūüŹĽūüĎćūüŹĽ I want to encourage all children throughout the setting to get involved and bring something in! The look on their little face when they see their work on the wall for everyone to see is just magical!ūüßö‚Äć‚ôÄÔłŹ

As we start the new term, our activities at home theme refreshes once again. We would like to invite all children to draw a picture or send in a photo reading their favourite traditional fairytale story. Story time is a special time and children benefit so much from it. Take the time to sit down with a book each day and share a special moment. We can‚Äôt wait to see what you‚Äôve got to show us! Let‚Äôs fill our board with lots of fantastic themed pictures! ūüßö‚Äć‚ôÄÔłŹ ūüďö ūüĆą

Well what fun we‚Äôve all had this morning. Safe to say we were all well and truly soakedūüí¶ūüí¶

ūüí¶ Tomorrow is the day where everyone gets soaked.. including staff! Hoping for a brighter day but if the weather isn‚Äôt on our side then please bring wellies and a rain coat.. the show must go onūüí¶

ūüí¶ Don‚Äôt forget next week, Tuesday 28th it‚Äôs our HUGE water fight with children and staff. Please make sure your child attends Nursery with a spare set of clothes to change into afterwards. ūüē∑ūüźćūüźĺūü¶ĒWell today has been a lot of fun for all the children and staff. We had a visit from Lucan at Reptile Rendezvous who brought in some of his furry, fluffy and prickly friends to nursery to meet the children. All the children were thrilled with the visit which encouraged discussions with their friends and practitioners. The children were invited to stroke the animals and if they were feeling that little bit brave, they were able to have a hold to get up, close and personal. We would all like to say a huge THANK YOU to Lucan and his animals for coming and giving the children fantastic memories of St Aidans as they transition on to big school.ūüē∑ūüźćūüźĺūü¶Ē

I would recommend St Aidan's to everyone as this nursery is full of amazing ladies that truly care about children. My little girl was very clingy and didn't like being without me but within a few weeks of being at St Aidan's she was excited to go to "school".



We had various key workers and I can honestly say that each and every one added so much to my little girls development.



The place is spotless, the standards are high, the ladies are amazing and the management are so accommodating.



Worth every penny and I will always be grateful for the time my little girl spent at this nursery.
